SOTC Lily of the Valley

Happy Fourth of July!  I do not have a patriotic card today--but I do have a swap card to show you. This is my card for our every other month swap for an awesome group of ladies on SCS--the SOTC--Sisters of the Traveling Cards!  Maryann is our hostess for May/June--she posted the following for us to follow in April:

Snow is still everywhere! It just keeps coming and it won't go away. In hopes of some spring/warm weather, I would like us to make some uplifting, sun-shining cards.
A card with FLOWERS to bring out the sunshine and wash away this cold/snowy weather. Birthday, thinking of you or any theme; it's up to you!

Since I knew that Maryann got lots and lots of snow this winter and it did not all go away until almost May, I am sure she really is ready for flowers!  I inked up a new stamp that I got this spring at a stamp show in Milwaukee and wanted to highlight the oval shape of the image.  I tried various dies, but none of the ovals matched the shape. This one worked, however it is a bit large for the card front!

I hope Maryann and the other SOTC gals like my card!

Stunning, simply stunning! I really like the die cut for the image, even if large. The extra white space gives emphasis to the image and your gorgeous coloring!
Lovely papers and layout as well. Very pretty!
