Carriers of Faith Blog Hop!

If you are looking for my Christmas Stamping All Year Long Card, please scroll down--Thanks!
I am back with another Carriers of Faith blog hop!  I am first on the hop and you have a challenge this month to keep track of the letters that will spell a word.  My letter is "R"  Please continue through the hop, add the letters and on the last blog, Kelly will ask for you for the word and you might win a prize!

Kelly is also our hostess this month and she gave us this wonderful theme:

Scripture: "Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe..." ~ Psalm 107:2

This is one of my favorite times of year, celebrating this time of Christ's resurrection! On Easter morning when the tomb was empty, the gift to all of us was the assurance that we will live again and be given eternally glory. As Christians, of course, we hope to know Christ and accept him as our Savior and share the gospel with friends, family, those we fellowship with. Truly when God died on that cross for you, for me, for all of us, he paid the price for us to worship at his feet and redeem ourselves. On this hop today, we all unite to share our creations with you as well as a letter on each stop of the way. Please remember the letter on your host's blog and at the end ( Kelly ) will ask you to write the word from all the letters in order! What's more fun, there is a prize for one lucky winner which will be given at random from all those leaving the Guess the Word comment! ♥ Blessings to each of you! ♥

Challenge: This month, create a card/project/scrapbook page/picture based on the scripture above and what the meaning you pull from that is. Tell us your story! What speaks to your heart? What gifts do you have that you give to others as part of a fellowship - do you read, pray, write, create, walk, sing? There are so many parts in each of us ~ what part of your story are you sharing with others? As an added bonus but not required!! Please use the color GREEN {my VERY favorite color!}somewhere on your card to represent newness, growth, the blossoming of nature around us and the blooming friendships we have!

My card shows some beautiful iris flowers and lots of Kelly's green--though it seems a bit darker in the picture......  I think my gifts are gardens---both flowers and vegetables.  We bring flowers to church many times in the summer to be displayed on the alter.  We also started a giving garden at church last year and I will help with the weeding and harvesting of the vegetables for the local food pantry, which is also located in our church.

Here is the inside of my card:

If you are joining us in the blog hop, as I mentioned, I am first on the list.  You now should head to Carol's Blog.
Here are the other members of the COF-Carriers of Faith-and the links to their blog.   Please join us and be sure to keep track of the letters we are posting today.  Kelly will be waiting for you!

OH Barb, you are a wonderful start to the hop today! Your card is so rich and vibrant and just bursts off the screen with it's color and beauty! I love your post today as a reflection of who you are and the gifts you bring to us as a COF sister (other than someone to razz, that is!) Your warmth and generousity and humor just keep me smiling and it's a JOY to be your friend!

Thank you for being such a special part of our COF group! ♥

What a Beautiful Card! Irises always remind me of my mother (gone for 8 yrs now). I spent many lovely times with her in a garden of some sort and those are precious memories to me.

Barb, what a beautiful card!! At first I thought the background paper was corregated when I first saw it. You certainly do have the gift of gardening and I love hearing about the garden at church too! Once again I'm amazed - not only by your paper this time....but by YOU! :)
