Dueling Darlings 2017!

It is January 15th of the month and that means we are starting a new year of Dueling Darlings challenges. For the January Challenge, Tami and Terry decided on the theme.  Terry is one of the Darlings and I am a part of the Diva team, which Tami is on!  We do have some new members of the DDD, so be sure to read all the way to the bottom of my post to get those details!

This theme this month was simple--just make a card with the components they sent.  They did both sent Valentine themed papers, so the card can be used for Valentine's Day next month.  Or, just a card of love............

I used three layers of the ribbons and twine that Tami sent.  That seems to be a "go to" design many times when I made my DDD card as I want to use all of the pretty ribbons that are included in the kit!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope all of the Darlings enjoy my card this month. Please be sure to stop in to see what all of the Divas as well the Dazzlers have created this month.

We have some new members in 2017 as we grow to 18 ladies!  Terry S. and Heather have joined the Diva team--yes, we now have three Terry's in our group!  Debby is joining the Darlings.

There are a few members who do not have blogs:  Suzy and Terry S who both are on the Diva team, and Terry A, Paola and Debby who are Dazzlers.  You will be able to check out their creations in their SCS gallery, if you click on the link for their name.  All of the others should be found on my left sidebar.  I am sure you will enjoy all of the wonderful creations this month!

Barb, this is SO GOOD! (not that I'm surprised, mind you)
Cool oval dies, I haven't seen those before! Love the twine, ribbon & button treatment. Maybe that will be the next technique I try to learn from you, LOL.
Very creative inside panel too. Love it all.

Oh my goodness Barb I'm lovin your card. I love that you used the tag on the inside and Riley in the layered oval is a perfect way to showcase this cute image. Great button/bakers twine detail and the cute little heart on the paper clip works so well attached to the oval. I am so glad we are duelers and friends...great job!
