Postage Due


This is my card for October's Monthly Challenge for the Creative Card Chicks.  This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items to complete the challenge each month. Sue is the hostess this month and she sent us this great image, along with some of the smaller images from the same set, which I used inside.  Sue also sent some sweet patterned paper along with the baker's twine and butterflies.  

I was not sure what to do with such a large image that has little to really color.  So, I grabbed a couple of sponges and inked the wheels of the bike with Island Indigo and the lily with some Crisp Cantaloupe.  I am thinking the card looks a bit artsy!

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Sponged Island Indigo, Crisp Cantaloupe

Accessories:  Corner Rounder; SU Pistachio Pudding Thick Baker's Twine, decorative border and butterfly die-cuts
