Card Kit #1

I am finally getting a chance to share the cards that I have made with the fun card kits I received in January.  I was so excited to be the recipient of these snowy themed card kits in a swap that I am hosting on SCS.  I received 10 kits and I hope to make 2 cards from each kit.  That was my plan in 2018 and I succeeded--and I think I can do it again!   So--stay tuned as I will be making the cards in the next few weeks and will post them as I can.

This is card kit #1, from Emily.  She sent an entire stamp set as she has decided it is easier than to be sure to follow all of the companies Angel Policies.  I was the recipient of a great set from Inky Antics called Christmas Friends. The set has some fun snowy images and great holiday sentiments.  She also included some fun patterned paper by Crate Paper, cardstock by Stampin' Up along with many, many fun embellishments. I was able to make 2 cards and will post the second card tomorrow. Be sure to check back to see the rest of my creations from this fun card kit swap!

I colored the cute snowman and penguin image with my Copic Sketch Markers and layered them with Taylored Expressions Inside Bracket Stacklets.  The embellishments are blue and white baker's twine along with silver sequins.

Here is the inside of my card, with another sentiment from the same set.

Thanks for a great kit and fun stamp set Emily--these were two fun cards to make!
