Gallery Gazers CASE

This is my March card for a newer blog group that I am a part of on SCS--nothing like waiting until the last day of the month........ The group is called the Gallery Gazers and was created by one of my good friends on SCS, Jeanette--Forest Ranger.  The premise behind the group is friendship, a shared love of stamping, and also a shared admiration for the many amazing creators who post in the SCS Gallery. Once a month, we are each to choose a card/project from the SCS Gallery to CASE--Copy and Share Everywhere. This post is the card I made after being inspired by CAR372's card on SCS found Here!

I love the gingham colors and recently got the Stampin' Up 6x6 paper pack called Gingham Gala. I also wanted to make an Easter card!

Here is the inside of my card:

I had fun creating this card for this group. Be sure to check back and see what I make in the future months.  There is not set date to post our creations, so check back often!

Friday's With The Project Bin

It is Friday, so  that means that I am back with another card for The Project Bin Stamps--A Way With Words!  Every Friday,  I post a card made from one of their great photopolymer stamp sets.  So, please plan to come back each week to see what I have created--I think you too will love these great sentiment stamp sets.  And, remember, some of the sets come with matching steel dies! Denise is the owner, founder and creator of these wonderful stamp sets.  The sentiments she has for us to ink up are just perfect for any holiday or time of year.  Please be sure to go and check them out!

I am so excited to see what great stamp sets Denise has in mind for the future.  I am sure she will have some wonderful sentiments for us to ink up and for you to consider purchasing!  I just know you too will love creating cards with these stamp sets!!!

If you want to check out more creations from the design team, be sure to check out The Project Bin Blog as often as you can.  Every day there is a different card posted by one of more of the design team members.

For this card, I used one of my favorite stamp sets called #bff.  This set comes with 6 great sentiments.  This set is great for all of the your besties and any one you want to tell you are thinking of them!  Spring is all about bright colors--so this card will shine!

Challenge Your Stash

Today is the day I post a project for our Challenge Your Stash group on SCS.  This is our 27th month of de-stashing-we are in our 3rd year into our challenges.

The premise is to create a card or something else that uses only items that are in your own stamp room--nothing new is to be purchased.  The hostess each month posts their challenge to the group and the card is due to be posted on the 28th. Each person in the group creates their card with their own image, their own papers, their own embellishments with their own supplies--using up items from their own stash!  The card can be for any occasion and each person is encouraged to send the card on its way to someone so it can be admired.  It is a way for us to step out of the box a bit and create something that follows a challenge--isn't that what a challenge is supposed to be.  And--no money is spent as all items are to be already available in each of own stamping spaces.

Barbara posted our March challenge--Use a Rabbit or Bunny on our card!

I used a stamp from one of my favorite companies--Whipper Snapper Designs!  I cut an oval out of a couple of the layers of the card to frame the sweet image.  I also added a row or coordinating Easter Bunny patterned paper at the bottom!

Here is the inside of my card:

If you check some of the blogs on my sidebar, you may find others who have posted their cards today or in the next few days.  There may be more posted in the thread on SCS, so you might want to check out the link here.  We also have a keyword for the SCS Gallery--it is CYSMAR.  You might see many cards there is you do a search.

I hope you enjoyed my card and I know I am excited to check out what my other hoarders, I mean stash reducers have made!  Thanks for stopping by today!  For April, Jen is up and we will find out our theme soon.  Be sure to check back to see what we create!

Hold on to Hope

Today is the 12th week of A Card a Week Challenge. One card a week--for 52 weeks--with a preset challenge for each month. March is using the Alphabet Challenge on SCS.  Every Tuesday, I will post a card that fits the theme of the monthly challenge.

This card is for this week's challenge to make an Encouragement card. I wanted to use the Stampin' Up stamp set called Hold on to Hope and the matching die set called Cross of Hope.  I also used an Impression Obsession die that I had not used before called Ornate Oval Frames and I think it works well with the cross.  I also used some of my Tim Holtz Metallic papers along with a starburst background folder.  I think it all came together for this challenge!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope you will stop back each Tuesday to see my creation for my A Card a Week Challenge!  This is my last March card and April is making a CAS card--and that will be a challenge for sure.  So please come back.
