It is time for another The Three Musketeers post. We are ready to showcase the card we all created with the image that I sent for April--for Card #56!  That means we are well into year #5--can you believe that?!  All three of us sure have enjoyed the challenges every month and we hope that it continues for a long time!  Jeanette will be up next for the May challenge and I cannot wait to see what she picks out.  Be sure to come back to see what we create!  

For our card this month, I sent out this cute Whipper Snapper Design image with a sweet kitty along with our favorite--a cup of coffee!  I used some coffee designs background paper and added a pop of color to the lid and the cup wrap along with the enamel dots embellishments.  I think this image is so darn cute!

Don't Need a Cone!

This is a card I made for my friend who took a tumble a week or so ago.  She loves animals and has a number of older dogs that she has adopted from the shelter where she is the Executive Director.  I know she will get a good chuckle from it!

Twisted Gate Fold

Here is my April Crafters of Faith card.  This is a great group that my friend Kelly started on SCS. This is our 28th month, so we are into year #3. Dawn gave everyone this challenge: 

Scripture:   Romans 8:17-18 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us

Challenge: Make a card that reveals and image or sentiment. It could be a slider card or a card with a lift up flap.

This card challenge stumped me for a bit and then a saw a card in a basket by my desk that I made a few years ago at a class that my friend Amy taught at Camp Stamp-in-Oga. We made a Halloween card with a mummy as the focal image and I went with an Easter Card.  The fold is called Twisted Gate Fold.   It looks harder than it is--really, I mean that.  There are a number of videos on making it.

This is the second card I made for Jennifer's Lawn Fawn Swap.  If you want to see my first card, it was posted on earlier this week, on Monday.  I love the Lawn Fawn animal images and especially the ones with matching dies!  I am sure there will be some wonderful cards that I receive in this swap!

Friday's With the Project Bin

It is Friday, so  that means that I am back with another card for The Project Bin Stamps--A Way With Words!  Every Friday,  I post a card made from one of their great photopolymer stamp sets.  So, please plan to come back each week to see what I have created--I think you too will love these great sentiment stamp sets.  And, remember, some of the sets come with matching steel dies! I used Spencer's Set for the image and sentiment below along the heart die from In My Heart to cut the hearts. I embossed the hearts with gold embossing powder and then added a gold trimmed ribbon.  Spencer's set comes with 4 sweet sentiments and the cute puzzle heart.  I love this set!  And, you can get it free during April--be sure to check out all of the other fun sets in the store!

Final Card Kit

I was the recipient of 11 fun card kits in February in a swap that Heather had set up on SCS. Thanks to all of my friends in this group that spoiled me with all of the great kits--I had a wonderful month getting the kits and then making some sweet cards!

This is card kit #11, the final one, from Maggie.  It was a great Christmas kit, with this hilarious image, along with some coordinating funny sentiments.  She also included some great patterned paper along with some wonderful embellishments! It was a fun card to make!

Spring Blessings One+12

Welcome to One Plus Twelve, month 4!  This is the brainchild of Kelly and she asked Jeanette and me to join her in this challenge. We are to use just one stamp, to make a card every month--but we may add a sentiment if we want!  One Stamp/Twelve Months-here we go into our fourth month of one plus 12!  We post on the 3rd of each month, reflecting the three of us and our three challenges we currently do together--3 Musketeers, our first challenge along with Ready, Set Go and now this one!

As a mentioned for my first card in January,  I picked my favorite Stampin Up set--Lovely as a Tree.  For my challenge this month, I used the Stampin' Up Woodland Textured Embossing Folder with Pool Party Ink and ran my brayer over the folder.  I then inked up the tree stamp with Mossy Meadow and stamped directly on the folder. I then ran it through my Big Shot and created this birch tree and evergreen image! I added the large Spring Blessings sentiment from a newer stamp set by Birch Press Designs.

A CAS Card

Today is the 12th week of A Card a Week Challenge. One card a week--for 52 weeks--with a preset challenge for each month. April is making a CAS--Clean and Simple, card.  Every Tuesday, I will post a card that fits the theme of the monthly challenge.  And, this month, it is challenge as I do not do CAS well.....

This card is a sweet CAS card, using some dies I have had for a bit along with a simple sentiment from a Stampin' Up set.  The tandem die is a Memory Box and the heart is Sizzix-Tim Holtz.   I think it turned out pretty well and I think it meets the CAS challenge!

Lawn Fawn Swap

It seems like such a long time ago that I posted a swap card that I made, but there have not been too many swaps posted on SCS.  But, when Jennifer posted a Lawn Fawn swap, I was in--for two cards!  Here is the first card and the second one will be posted on Saturday.  I love the Lawn Fawn animal images and especially the ones with matching dies!  I am sure there will be some wonderful cards that I receive back in this swap!
