Calendar Girls--Teachers are Cool!

Welcome to another round with the Calendar Girls!

Who are the Calendar Girls? We are a group of bloggers who want to have a place where friendships blossom, creativity abounds, and encouragement prevails! In keeping with that dream, this blog group has been created so we will have a place to interact and enjoy being fellow bloggers.

This month hostess is our Miss September—Paola.  She gave us three options and this is the one I decided on:

*choice 2* EDUCATION:

Create a card with a special teacher in mind, and please remember to add at least one apple somewhere in your card. Teacher's {heart} apples!  I would also like YOU to gift your finished card to a teacher (past or present) who has been a true inspiration in your life. (or in your child/children life/lives.

This card reflects the traditional teacher—a schoolhouse and apples!  I chose this option as I was a teacher for 33+ years and loved every bit of it.  I have been retired for 2 years and appreciate all that teachers do.   This card will be given to my friend and peer when I was teaching—Pam.  She is a physical education teacher and was the gymnastics coach until last year.  She is an inspiration to me and many other staff members as well as every young lady she coached along with all of her students.

Image/Sentiment—SU Golden Rule Days (school house); Peddler’s Pack Stampworks (Sentiment)

Cardstock—Stampin’ Up Riding Hood Red, So Saffron; Gina K White; Kaisercraft Class of ’87 Designer Paper.

Accessories—Red Ribbon and Brads

Please check out the blogs of all of the Calendar Girls—there are 10 of us, so it might take you a bit.   I am sure you will enjoy all of the September creations.  All of the blogs are listed on my left sidebar.

I hope you enjoy looking at our cards!  Thanks for joining us!!!!!!!
