It is the 28th of the month, so I am here to welcome you to another round with the Calendar Girls!
Who are the Calendar Girls? We are a group of bloggers who want to have a place where friendships blossom, creativity abounds, and encouragement prevails! In keeping with that dream, this blog group has been created so we will have a place to interact and enjoy being fellow bloggers. April is our hostess this month and this is what she wrote for us to follow:
My theme is easy I would like you each to make a card representing one thing you hope to accomplish over the summer. It could be a garden, a vacation, a weight loss, whatever, BUT you do have to tell us what you are hoping to accomplish!
I think this Riley stamps is so cute--and wanted to ink him up again. I used two different widths of khaki ribbon for a different touch. I also wanted to add some of the bicycle patterned paper to the inside of my card.
So--I have many things I want to accomplish every summer and this one sure is no different! I love to play in the garden and we do plan to take a bike trip with camping again in September as we did last year with two other friends--I think that still might be considered summer. But--one thing I know I will do more of this summer is biking in general as we just got a new tandem two weeks and I love it already! It is such a smooth ride and it does go fast! So--if you are in SE Wisconsin and see a couple of ladies riding a red tandem bike, give us a shout!
Cardstock—Gina K White, Little Boy Blue; Stampin' Up Sahara Sand, Night of Navy; Yellow Bicycle Traveler-Little Bicycle Patterned Paper
Ink—Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories—Copic Markers; Wide and Narrow Khaki Grosgrain Ribbon; Khaki round Brads
Please check out the blogs of all of the Calendar Girls—there are 10 of us, so it might take you a bit. I am sure you will enjoy all the cards highlighting our summer plans! All of the blogs are listed on my left sidebar. Thanks for joining us this month!
