So-this week is Challenge is #44--Make your Own Background!   You are to use any technique you want for the background and still share an appropriate scripture or inspirational sentiment.

Our sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine

I used a cute image called Lil Scoop.  Isn't she the sweetest little girl? Thank You Lacy Sunshine!

For the background, I used an embossing folder and I inked up the non-braille side or the side that is not raised up (I am sure there is a better name for this!)   When you run it through the Big Shot, then the ink settles in the area of the background that is lower and the raised part remains white.  I was also able to use some of the new In-colors from Stampin' Up on this card--love them!

Image/Sentiment—Lacy Sunshine Lil Scoop Digital Image and Our Daily Bread Flourished Verses Sentiment

Cardstock—Gina K White; Stampin' Up Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe;

Ink—SU Strawberry Slush

Accessories—Copic Markers; Sizzix Curlique Embossing Folder; Strawberry Slush Stretch Ruffle Trim

I hope you will play along this week with the Twist of Faith Card Challenge too! Be sure to go to the challenge blog and add your creations for the challenge this week! You can also check out the rest of the DT Creations with the links on the left sidebar.

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
