All About Music Duel

It is the 15thof the month and that means we get to show off another Dueling Darlings challenge. Judy and Paola are the Darlings who came up with the challenge and theme for the teams this month.  Judy is a Diva and Paola is one of the Dazzlers.

The theme is all about music.
We had a choice of two images to use this kit as well as two sentiments--I used both of those as one is in the inside of my card.  I thought this little girl was too darn cute.  I colored her all up and then realized none of the cute papers Judy sent went with pink!  So, I used the wonderful embossed musical background Judy sent and went with a pink, white and black color theme!  I hope Judy likes my take on her kit.  I sure will use the rest of the papers in the future as they are so pretty!

Here is the inside of my card:

Image/SentimentBild Malarna Stamps Mimosa Violin/Verve Beautiful You and Musical notes Sentiments

PaperStampin' Up Blushing Bride, Strawberry Slush and Whisper White

Ink—Memento Black

Accessories--Copic Markers Pink Darcie Sheet Music Embossing Folder; Musical Note Brads; Black Ribbon; Black & White Baker's Twine; Sheet Music Washi Tape

Please be sure to stop in to see what all of the Divas as well the Dazzlers have created this month. All of the blogs are on the left sidebar of my blog. I am sure you will enjoy all of the wonderful cards that have been created this month!

  1. I like your girl, Pinky! The image looks really good on the embossed musical background. The touches of black set the image off. I think well done!

  12. Hi Barb! Today's the last day in May and I'm finally getting around to checking our all the May DD's cards. And a BIG WOW for your pretty in pink card. Very stunning!! Loved how you colored Mimosa Violin and used the sheet music embossed panel for the background and the musical note brads. Super neat sentiment panel with the black and white twine is just perfect! Love the use of the washi tape and the other sentiment on the inside. Just delightful!!
