This card is for a Mystery Swap on SCS. A group of us are doing a bi-monthly swap where we all use the same mystery image, sent to us by the hostess. This swap was created by Forest Ranger—Jeanette and we are now in our second cycle. Linda is the hostess this month and she picked a sweet tractor image from Stampin' Up. Linda will swap the cards--then send us the next image, which Kelly is going to sent to her. I can't wait to get the swap cards back to see how everyone else used the same sentiment. Then everyone gets to do it all over again!
I first used my Copic Markers to color the image--that did not turn out well at all. I then water-colored the tractor with my aqua-painter and SU inks. That turned out better, though I am not completed satisfied. I think I should have shaken the dust off of my colored pencils and tried those................... Oh well, I hope Linda and the other mysterious ladies like my card.
Here is the inside of my card:
Cardstock— White; SU Cherry Cobbler, Peach Parfait, Sahara Sand; Theresa Collins---He Said-She Said---Rulers/Stripes Patterned Paper
Ink—Memento Tuxedo Black; Water-colored Garden Green, Basic Grey, Smokey Slate, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories—Black Pumpkin Fiber with Tan Button; Peach Grosgrain Ribbon; Aqua Painter; SU Ticket Corner Punch
Your card is great Barb! Love the layout you used.
