The Dueling Darlings are Back!

If you are looking for my {PIN}Spirational Challenge card or my TCCCB Challenge card, please scroll down. It is a three-peat post day!!!

It is the 15th of the month and that means we get to show off a new Dueling Darlings challenge. We have taken a couple of months off for summer and we are back bigger and better than ever!  We have added new members to both teams, so be sure to check out the blog roll on the left sidebar to see all of the blogs!  Also--One of our new Diva's-Suzy, does not have a blog yet, but I have a link to her SCS Gallery at the end of this post--please check out her card there!

For our September Challenge, our team leaders, Kelly and Jeanette came u with our theme for the teams this month.  Kelly is organizer of the Divas and Jeanette is in charge of the Dazzlers.  The challenge this month is--"Tutti Fruity".

Kelly sent us this information:  Since Autumn is now upon us, the Divas are going apple picking!  Maybe you, too, have those fond memories of heading to the apple orchards to bring home bushels of fresh apples picked from the trees, filling up the baskets!  Maybe you loved drinking fresh apple juice and cider or the crunch of the apple as you took that first bite-Yum!

I thought the patterned paper Kelly sent was so pretty--I loved the sparkle.  I used just one layer on the bottom of my card and left that alone.  I colored and fussy cut the basket and one of the apples Kelly included and popped it over the three layers of sweet ribbon she sent along. I used the thick fiber to tie a bow over the ribbon and also used a thinner piece I pulled off and threaded it through one of the red, wooden hearts.

Here is the inside of my card:

True to many of the previous Dueling Darling Challenges--there was an additional "challenge" for us--for us to post our favorite fruit recipe--just the name.  My favorites-- fruit tarts or fruit pizza!  Yummy!!!!
