This is a card I made for April's Monthly Challenge for the Girls of the Baker's Dozen. This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items to complete the challenge each month. Jeanette was the hostess and sent us a bunch of cute flower images and sentiments. Jeanette wrote--This month being April, I'm thinking of warmer weather, springtime activities and lots of flowers. She picked the theme--If friends were flowers, I'd pick you" because she truly does treasure our friendships. And--I so appreciate all of my friends in this group and all of my card groups too! This is the last month of a post as the Baker's Dozen--we return in May with Suzy's image as Creative Card Chicks!
Here is the inside of my card:
This was a fun kit and I hope the Jeanette and the others like my card.
Cardstock/Patterned Paper: White; Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Always Artichoke; Best of Pebbles Paper Pad
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copic Markers; Flowers; Baker's Twine
Barb, your card is gorgeous - and you colored the "wild-haired" girl to perfection! I'm sure glad I picked you as one of my most favorite friends!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card. Love how you colored the image and great layout. Hugs, Maggie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Barb - love the papers and how you have coloured her unruly hair :-) The twine and flowers are a gorgeous touch.
