This is my card for May's Monthly Challenge for the debut of the Creative Card Chicks................ well kind of a debut. We used to be the Girls of the Baker's Dozen, but have lost a few members so we have a new name! We also are to post our cards between the 21st and 23rd of each month--so if you check the blogs on my sidebars today or in the next few days, you may see more of these wonderful creations!
This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items to complete the challenge each month. Suzy is the hostess and sent us an assortment of images from an older Stampin' Up set called Betsy the Beekeeper. I used two of the images, along with the three bees. Suzy also sent us the honeycomb embossed background, some ribbons, sequins and die-cut flowers.
I fussy cut the two main images along with the three butterflies. I added some gold sequins in the middle of the pink flowers and placed some of the larger ones around the card. I also used both the rose ribbon and gold cord on my card.
Here is the inside of my card:
This was a fun kit and I hope the Suzy and the others like my card.
