The Christmas House!

So, some of you may think that I have just been sitting around, eating bon-bons and enjoying the sunshine in Wisconsin.................................... But No!  I have been in the middle of the Christmas Transformation!  I thought I would share some pictures of some of our decorations this year.

This is our main tree, 9 feet tall and has hundreds of ornaments on it.  This is the first tree--yes, I said first, tree that I decorate every year.............  We have 17 decorated trees in our house and another 7 or 8 that just have white lights and no ornaments. Yes, we do love Christmas!

Here are a couple of the themed trees--A Bucky one for UW-Madison and another that has ornaments collected from our vacations.

These two trees are filled with memories of my life as a teacher and coach, with the second one all sports related ornaments, especially volleyball related!

Here is what our fireplace looks like, with a few of our Santa's gracing the top.

This is one of our bay windows, full of snowmen that say around until the end of January

We also have small trees in each of the bathrooms, a purple and silver one in the master bedroom and one in the laundry room too.  In the lower level, we have a red, white and blue tree, a tree with farm related ornaments and one with German ornaments, along with some with just lights.  We also have a number of nativity scenes in the house too.

The outside has white lights on the gutters along with red and white lights over the four shrubs.  We will decorate the porch rail tomorrow morning with greenery as we need to cut some branches for it and add red and white lights.  I also decorated an arch in the backyard by the hot tub with blue and white lights so we can enjoy them while relaxing there.  We also have a small lit tree on the front porch along with one by the garage.

I hope you have enjoyed my pictures and a stroll around our Christmas house.  We have a cocktail party tomorrow night, so the house is ready to go.  Now, to work on the food and beverages.........................
