Here is my September Crafters of Faith card. This is a great group that my friend Kelly started on SCS. This is our 9th month and Judy gave us this challenge: I have so many favorite verses; many from the Psalms, from Romans, Galatians and Philippians and went back and forth in choosing a verse for September. I finally settled on this verse that really sums up for me my faith:
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so no one can boast. For we our God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:8-10
As September is the month both my sons were born in I like to remember that these boys were two of the greatest gifts God gave to me! (The meaning of their names is Gift of God) So I would like you to create a card celebrating a birth or another great gift God has bestowed on you.
I inked up one of my favorite stamp sets and bible verse of all time--Love Is.... I am not sure I can decide on just one "great gift", so I chose Love as the Greatest Gift of All! I also used one of my newer Gina Marie Designs Dies--Loopy Rectangle and I really like how it highlights the sentiment. I think they even look like hearts surrounding the image. I hope others think my sentiment is a good fit for this challenge.
Here is the inside of my card:
I hope Judy, along the others like my card this month! We are to post between the 7th and 10th of each month, so if you look on my sidebar, you may see other creations. I know that there will be many posted in the COF thread on SCS too!
