Crafter's of Faith

Here is my April Crafters of Faith card.  This is a great group that my friend Kelly started on SCS. This is our 16th month and Tracie gave everyone this challenge:  Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your Heart" Psalms 37:4.  Use a heart someplace on your card.

I needed a retirement card and I thought this would be a perfect challenge for it!  I am sure the patterned paper is for Valentine's Day, but I think is was a good choice for this occasion.  Retirement is for sure something to love! I liked the way my card turned out. I am also excited to use a new black ink pad I just got--Catherine Pooler Midnight Black.  It is very rich and vibrant--I really like it!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Tracie, along the others like my card this month!  We are to post between the 7th and 10th of each month, so if you look on my sidebar, you may see other creations.  I know that there will be many posted in the COF thread on SCS too! Kelly is up for our May challenge and so be sure to check back to see what she picked.
