Here is my January Crafters of Faith card. This is a great group that my friend Kelly started on SCS. This is our 25th month, so we are starting year #3. Kelly gave everyone this challenge:
Scripture: There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. ~1 Samuel 2:2
My challenge for you this month is my son's gifted rock! Kelly posted a picture of rock in our thread on Splitcoast Stampers. Use a rock somewhere on your card. It can be a single stone, river rocks, mountains - however the scriptures speaks to you! And if none of those work, maybe you want to use rock DSP or river rock ribbon, etc.
The card I made uses one of my favorite Impression Obsession stamps. I picked the sentiment-scripture as the background paper of stones or pebbles, reminds me of some found along side a lake or stream--still waters! I embossed the black strip under the die cute sentiment with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder for some added interest!
I hope Kelly along the others from the Crafters of Faith group like my card this month! We are to post between the 7th and 10th of each month, so if you look on my sidebar, you may see other creations. I know that there will be many posted in the COF thread on SCS too! Tracie is up for our February challenge, so be sure to check back to see what she picked.
