It is the 15th of the month and that means I am showing you a new Dueling Darlings card. For our May Challenge, Shelly and Carol are the hostesses! They decided on the theme-Motorcycle Masculine Cards! Shelly is one of the Dazzlers and Carol is a Diva, like me, and we are all Dueling Darlings! And, we have been doing this since August of 2010--a long time!
Carol sent us this motorcycle image from the Red Hot Classic Collection from Bombshell Stamps. She included some coordinating sentiments. She also sent us some great patterned paper along with some fun embellishments. I used the suede rope that she sent to make some "fringe" on the side of the card, like many cyclists have one their clothing or motorcycle. This was fun card to make.
Here is the inside of my card, with a great map and a motorcycle button that Carol sent. Do you see Sturgis?
I hope all of the Darlings enjoy my card this month. Please be sure to stop in to see what all of the Divas as well the Dazzlers have created this month. We will be here in June, so be sure to check back!
There are a few members who do not have blogs: Suzy and Terry S who both are on the Diva team and Debby who is a Dazzlers. You will be able to check out their creations in their SCS gallery, if you click on the link for their name. All of the others should be found on my left sidebar. I am sure you will enjoy all of the wonderful creations this month!

Oh how fun! Sturgis!!! I lived close to there once and my oh my! The mass of bikers was a sight to behold! They were such a polite group, too.

Sturgis! SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!! Tony and his brother took many a road trip up there for Bike Week - brought me back a tshirt once, lol! His actual FAVORITE trip was the Miami to Key West run - they stayed all weekend and the wonderful bikers took over Key West. Great times!
ReplyDeleteNow your card! Barbara Lynn! This is magnificent - so classic and elegant and just stands out in a crowd. Well done, my friend.
I should add - Sturgis, FLORIDA :) https://sturgismotorcyclerally.com/
