Faith, Hope, Love

This is my March Crafters of Faith card as we are continuing in 2020.  This is a great group that my friend Kelly started on SCS. and we are well in our 4th year. Sue gave everyone this challenge:

Scripture:  1 Thessalonians 5:5-8
for you are all sons of light and sons of day We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober. For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation.

Challenge:  Daylight Savings Time begins in March. We’ll see more light as our days get longer. Make a card that illustrates how you shine the light of Christ to others. OR Make a card that illustrates faith, hope or love.

I looked at my religious stamps and found the perfect one that highlights all three of these awesome words--Faith, Hope and Love!  I then decided to use a set of Birch Press Designs dies called Dazzle and used So Saffron as the yellow layer, peaking out from the other two colors, representing the sunshine.

Here is the inside of my card, with a strip of Washi tape of inspiring words:

I hope Sue and Kelly,  along the others from the Crafters of Faith group like my card this month!  We are to post between the 7th and 10th of each month, so if you look on my sidebar, you may see other creations.  I know that there will be many posted in the COF thread on SCS too!  Tracie is up for our April challenge, so be sure to check back to see what I create!
