Create Your Own Stripes

I signed up to take Spring Card Class 2 at Online Cards Classes--yes, I am camp, even during safer at home.  I can't think of a better time, watching some great video with awesome teachers-then trying to create what they did..........................  try!  This class is for 20 days and I even went back and signed up for Class 1 that recently ended, just to get all of the awesome content.  I will go back and work on some of those cards too.  Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire host each day and they also bring in guest artists.  I am loving everything I have seen so far!

Anyway-back to day 2.  Yes, I have not done the card from yesterday's technique yet, but I will.  For this card, Jennifer demoed how to make your own stripes on a card. I used a great stamp set I got last year which is a collaboration of Hero Arts and Gina K Designs--what a great duo!  The colors of the stripes are various Tim Holtz Oxide Inks.  I really, really like the look of this card and it is a bit out of my comfort zone-but I am thinking this class will push me to be more comfortable with many new techniques.  Stay Tuned!

I hope you come back to see more of my cards from this fun class!

  2. A wonderful card Barb, and good on you for letting yourself be challenged and trying new techniques. I debated if i would sign up for the second camp, but the price was a bit off-putting, by the time I converted the $ and also with my other things going on at the moment!
    Stay safe
