Day 7 Vellum Overlay

Here is my card for Day 7 of the Spring Card Class 2 at Online Cards Classes.  This class is for 20 days and I am loving everything I have seen so far!  Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire set up the class and they bring in guest artists each day.

For our Day 7 card, Caly Person and Amber Davis challenged us to make a Vellum Overlap background.  I do not have many background framed dies, but I thought this  Tutti Designs Garden Background would work well.  I sponged color on the piece of white with my Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks. I cut three layers of Certainly Celery from the Thanks Script Die from Taylored Expressions and also the coordinating backer from a piece of vellum.  I am not sure that is a good look with the background vellum, but it is done and I do like the look.

I know this class will provide me with many new techniques and different ways to use what I have in my stash!  Stay Tuned!

I hope you come back to see more of my cards from this fun class!
