Grateful Heart

It is time for another The Three Musketeers post. We are ready to showcase the card we all created with the sweet image that Jeanette sent out for July for Card #83!  All three of us sure have enjoyed the challenges every month and we hope that it continues for a long time!  Kelly is up for the August challenge, so be sure to come back to see what we create!

For our card this month, Jeanette sent out this beautiful image from Neat & Tangled called Grateful Heart--it sure is pretty!  She sent two images that were stamped on the quarter sheet of cardstock and one that was die cut.  I am saving that for later.  I brush blended ROY-red, orange and yellow with my Taylored Expressions ink cubes.  Of course I used my TE blender brushes!  I then die cut the panel with my Gina K Designs Master Layouts 2.  The back panel was embossed with my favorite folder from Stampin' Up called Subtle Dynamic. The sentiment is from Simon Says Sentiment Strips.   I then added some Studio Katia Vintage Shimmer Pearls for the final touch.  I hope Jeanette and Kelly along with you enjoy my card!

Here is the inside of my card:

Please check out the other Musketeer's cards.  Here is the link to Jeanette's blog along with Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards!  They may post today or tomorrow, so be sure to check out their blogs for their card!   As I mentioned before, Kelly is up for our August challenge.  Please be sure to join us again.

  1. Barb, this is gorgeous! I love that you used blending instead of coloring for your beauty! It gives it such a gorgeous artsy look. I love the sentiment you used, too! Excellent card!

  2. Beautiful ombré of sunset colors! Terrific idea to sponge the colors around the image for a beautiful contrast!

  3. What a beauty Barb - love this card and the gorgeous way you have used the image, leaving it un-coloured and letting that amazing background do all the work.
    Stay safe
