Here is my second card for the June mystery image swap. Emily and I are the hostesses this month and we used the theme of "June is National Dairy Month" since we both live in Wisconsin! We both sent ice cream type images since it is also summer along with a choice of sentiments.
This is the image I sent to everyone--a cute Whipper Snapper! We also challenged the ladies to use "Sprinkles on Top"! Add something to your image or card that is an ice cream topping. I used clear Wink of Stella on the nose of the bear and the cherry on the top of the crown. I also layered two kinds of ribbon for some added color.
The card I made with Emily's image was posted yesterday--please check it out!
Here is the inside of my card:
Image/Sentiment: Whipper Snapper Haagen Daz Bear/Gina K Designs 100% Sweet
Cardstock/Patterned Paper: Recollections White; Stampin' Up Pear Pizzaz, Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo; American Crafts Cold Treats Patterned Paper
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copic Markers; SU Pretty in Pink 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and Melon Mambo Scallops Dots Ribbon-backside, Oval Punches; Pearl Brads; Wink of Stella Clear Brush Pen
Such a cute card. Love the image and your pattern paper is perfect!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card Barb, but a bit chilly here to be eating ice creams - I am enjoying some chocolate (artisan style). It is dark chocolate with Chili pepper in it - YUM!!
