Mystery Revealed

This card is for a Mystery Swap on SCS. A group of us are doing a bi-monthly swap where we all use the same mystery image, sent to us by the hostess. This swap was created by Forest Ranger—Jeanette and we are now in our third round!  Kelly is the hostess this month and she sent us this cute image and a couple of matching sentiments.  She will swap the cards and send everyone the next image, which will be provided by me!!!!!  We then get to do it all again!  I know you will all love the cards in the next round, so please come back!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Kelly and the others like my card.  If you check my sidebar on the left, you might see some other swappers who have posted their cards.

Dueling Darlings and Flowers!

It is the 15th of the month and that means we get to show off a new Dueling Darlings challenge. For the May Challenge, Tami and Terry are the Darlings who decided on the theme.  Terry is a Darling and Tami is a Diva, my team!

The theme or challenge they picked is "May Flowers".  I love the image Tami sent-is soooooooooo darn cute!  She also sent along some great patterned paper and two already embossed flowery backgrounds.  There was also a huge assortment of embellishments for us to chose from!

Here is the inside of my card--I used the sweet die cut that Suzy sent:

Tami also asked us to share what flower we plant yearly.  The one I love is petunias as I have probably 15 hanging baskets and pots on our deck that have petunias.  We have started these from seeds the past few years since we built a greenhouse attached to a new garage.  It is fun to see them start to bloom--and that will be happening soon.  Then, after Memorial Day weekend, they are moved outside.

I hope Tami and the other Darlings enjoy my card.

Mystery Image Tag

Here is my creation for our May mystery image group.  Susanne sent us this large image of a mermaid along with a large tag. She challenged us to use the image on the tag and create a one-sided card!  I did some paper piecing with the second image she send to give our sea-lady a cute "scale" outfit!  I get to send it to Susanne too and I hope she thinks I did an okay job!

Next month, Sonja is our hostess and I cannot wait to see what fun image she has picked out.  So--we all get to create another round of cute card.

I hope Susanne and the others in our group like my tag.

Girlfriends Blend!

It is time for another The Three Musketeers post. We are ready to showcase the card we all created with the image Kelly provided this month for Card #20!  We have been doing this for more almost two years now and it has been a blast! Jeanette is up next for the June challenge and I know she is already thinking about it.  Be sure to come back to see what we create!

For our card this month, Kelly sent out a great Art Impressions image along with some matching sentiments.  Kelly is a huge Starbucks fan and I know Jeanette and I are a close second when we get the chance to get close to a 'bux!  Kelly also mentioned this image reminded her of how much she is longing to get together with the two of us and talk and craft and laugh.  One Day!  I too hope this great event will happen sooner, rather than later!!!!!!

Here is the inside of my card

Please check out the other Musketeer's cards.  Here is a link to Jeanette's blog along with Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards!  They may post today, or it may be upcoming, so be sure to check out their blog for their card!
