Friday's With The Project Bin

It is Friday, so  that means that I am back with another card for The Project Bin Stamps--A Way With Words!  Every single Friday I will be posting a card made from one of their great photopolymer stamp sets.  So, please plan to come back each week to see what I have created--and I think you too will love these great sentiment stamp sets.  And, remember, some of the sets come with matching steel dies!
If you want to check out more creations from the design team, be sure to check out The Project Bin Blog as often as you can.  Every day there is a different card posted by one of more of the design team members.

For this card, I used an awesome new Halloween stamp set called Creepy HalloweenThis set comes with 9 great stamps!  I think this is a wonderful set to use for Halloween.

Here is the Creepy Halloween stamp set:

Use that Washi Tape!

This is my card for the September Challenge Your Stash group on SCS.  This is our 8th month of de-stashing!

The premise is to create a card or something else that uses only items that are in your own stamp room--nothing new is to be purchased.  The hostess each month posts their challenge to the group and the card is due to be posted on the 28th. Each person in the group creates their card with their own image, their own papers, their own embellishments with their own supplies--using up items from their own stash!  The card can be for any occasion and each person is encouraged to send the card on its way to someone so it can be admired.  It is a way for us to step out of the box a bit and create something that follows a challenge--isn't that what a challenge is supposed to be.  And--no money is spent as all items are to be already available in each of own stamping spaces.

Terry posted our September challenge--Use Washi Tape.   I have a drawer full of washi tape and use it sparingly.  So, this was a great challenge for me!  I used a bicycle washi tape to cover the entire back of my card and then used a bicycle die for the focal point.

Here is the inside of my card, using more Washi tape.

If you check some of the blogs on my sidebar, you may find others who have posted their cards today or in the next day or so.  There may be more posted in the thread on SCS, so you might want to check out the link here.  We also have a keyword for the SCS Gallery--it is CYSSEP.  You might see many cards there is you do a search.

I hope you enjoyed my card and I know I am excited to check out what my other hoarders, I mean stash reducers have made!  Thanks for stopping by today!  For October, Jody is up and I cannot wait to see her challenge.  Be sure to check back to see what we create!

For this card, I used a great fall stamp set called Autumn's CallingThis set comes with 5 sentiment stamps and 4 individual leaves.  I think this is a wonderful set to use in the fall season.  Though, it does not feel like fall in Wisconsin as the temps have been in the 80's all week--in mid-September!

Warning--Learning in Progress

It is the third Wednesday of the month and that means a Ready, Set, Go Challenge Card!  The 3 Musketeers (Jeanette, Kelly and me) are back with another challenge this month--our fifth month of this!

I decided on our challenge for September. That month is always back to school, for me at least... so think of your favorite subject in school or even your favorite teacher. It could be grade school or high school or even college. Design a card that reflects your favorite school subject or describes or highlights your favorite teacher.

Many of you know that I am a retired teacher, so this is a special post for me.  I remember my first grade teacher, Mrs. Crass and my third grade teacher, Mrs. Kloss as two of my favorites. I became a Physical Education teacher for the opposite reason as I had a "not the best" PE teacher in high school and I decided to become a teacher to not be like her!  I taught elementary and high school Physical Education in a small school--30 some in each grade--in NW Wisconsin for 3+ years.  I then taught high school Health and Physical Education along with being the Athletic Director at a high school in SW Wisconsin for 33 years!

This card honors ALL teachers:

Here is the inside of my card:

Please be sure to check out the other Ready, Set, Go cards.  Here is a link to Jeanette's post as she got a bit confused and posted last week, along with Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards! I hope Kelly and Jeanette like my card and that you might too!  Jeanette is up for the next theme, so be sure to check back to see what we are up to on the 3rd Wednesday in October!

Countryside

This card is for a Mystery Swap on SCS. A group of us do a bi-monthly swap where we all use the same mystery image, sent to us by the hostess. This swap was created by Forest Ranger—Jeanette and we are now in our 42nd round!  Laura Jean is the hostess this month and she sent everyone this great Stampin' Up image. LJ will swap the cards and send everyone the next image, which is being sent by Jeanette. We then get to do it all again, for round 43! And, Jeanette just took sign-ups to hostess for another year or so--we will be going through 2018!
Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Laura Jean and the other swappers like my card.  If you check my sidebar on the left, you might see some other swappers who have posted their cards.

Going Places

This card is for the monthly swap that Pam hosts on SCS.  Each month we make 10 cards and include a matching envelope.  They can be any theme for any month.  All of the swappers are wonderful and I have received awesome cards each and every month.

I inked up one of my favorite Stampin' Up masculine sets--Traveler.   I love this set and I also really like the 6x6 paper pack Going Places.    I think everyone can use more masculine cards.

If you would like to see my card for The Project Bin, please scroll up.

It is the 15th of the month and that means I am showing you a new Dueling Darlings card.  For the September Challenge, Terry S. and Terry A. decided on the theme--Chocolate!   Terry A. is the one of the Dazzlers and Terry S. is a Diva, the team that I am on!  They decided on the chocolate theme in honor of Milton Hershey's birthday on 9/13!

Terry
sent each of the Divas some great chocolate images and sweet coordinating sentiments--I had to say that!!!!!!  Terry also included some colorful patterned papers and wonderful matching embellishments!  I picked the Stamping Bella Edna Loves Chocolate image as she just makes me smile!   This sure was a fun card to make!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope all of the Darlings enjoy my card this month. Please be sure to stop in to see what all of the Divas as well the Dazzlers have created this month.

There are a few members who do not have blogs:  Suzy and Terry S who both are on the Diva team, and Terry A, Paola and Debby who are Dazzlers.  You will be able to check out their creations in their SCS gallery, if you click on the link for their name.  All of the others should be found on my left sidebar.  I am sure you will enjoy all of the wonderfully "Sweet" creations this month!

You've Got Style

This is my card for the monthly themed swap that Terry is hosting on SCS.  Each month she will post a theme and we make cards using any stamp set we believe follows that thought. This is our 21st month and the theme for September is "You've Got Style".  We could interpret the theme for a card that reflected fashion, color, our own personal quirkiness, our stamping style.....it's was up to us! So, I went with making a card that reflects my style--a sentiment as the focal point, designer paper as the background, using dies to highlight the image and of course, adding brads and ribbon. This card is "Just My Style"! I am sure there will be some wonderful cards this month.

I hope Terry and the others swappers like my card this month too!  I cannot wait to see what our theme is for October and it will be posted today!

Hey Pumpkin!

It is time for another The Three Musketeers post. We are ready to showcase the card we all created with the image that Kelly sent this month for Card #36!  That means we have just completed year #3--WOW!  All three of us sure have enjoyed the challenges every month and we hope that it continues for a few more!  Jeanette will be up next for the October challenge and I already have the image that she sent!  Be sure to come back to see what we create!

For our card this month, Kelly sent an image a sweet CC Designs image for the fall season.  Plus, it is her son's birthday today--so happy birthday little man!  I know they have evacuated their Miami home and are in the middle of Florida, so I do hope that they can have a small celebration today, along with staying safe!  Thinking of you today Kelly along with all of your family as Irma is to come ashore. I think this image is too cute and is a perfect fall card!    I hope Jeanette and Kelly like my card.
