It is Friday, so  that means that I am back with another card for The Project Bin Stamps--A Way With Words!  Every single Friday I will be posting a card made from one of their great photopolymer stamp sets.  So, please plan to come back each week to see what I have created--I think you too will love these great sentiment stamp sets.  And, remember, some of the sets come with matching steel dies! Denise is the owner, founder and creator of these wonderful stamp sets.  The sentiments she has for us to ink up are just perfect for any holiday or time of year.  Please be sure to go and check them out!

I am so excited to see what great stamp sets Denise has in mind for the future.  I am sure she will have some wonderful sentiments for us to ink up and for you to consider purchasing!  I just know you too will love creating cards with these stamp sets!!!

Unidentified Image Swap

This is the card for the 40th round of the Unidentified Image swap on SCS.  It is a group of ladies who are a part of a bi-monthly swap where we all use the same image, sent to us by the hostess.  The unidentified part is that we are to not discuss the image at all until the day they are to be posted--today!   The image for this round was provided by Carol.  She will swap the cards and include the next image that Laura Jean, our next hostess in their return envie.  And then we get to do it all again--for round #41--in December!

Carol sent us this cute Penny Black~~How Tweet It is image.  I really liked coloring him up,  I only added a snowflake brad and used a decorative corner round, so the image and designer papers were the focus.  I also did not add the sentiment, so it can be used for a Christmas Card or any other winter occasion.

Here is the inside of my card:

If you check some of the other blogs listed on my sidebars, you may find some other swappers who have posted their creations today or in the next few days.  I hope Carol and everyone in the swap likes my card--and that you do too!

Ready? Set. Go!

Today is the third Wednesday of the month and that means a Ready, Set, Go Challenge Card! The 3 Musketeers (Jeanette, Kelly and I) are back with another challenge this month--our 18th month!  We are now coming to the end year #2!

Jeanette provided the challenge for October and she posted an interesting challenge:  Jeanette got her first pair of glasses in 1978.  She remembered being amazed at the things she could see that had been hidden before without her knowing it.  She had us research for facts/trivia/etc. from the year 1978 and then take something we discover from that year and use it in someway to make a card. So--off I went to search for something from 1978.  There were many choices, but the top 2 TV shows that year were Laverne and Shirley along with Happy Days.  Bingo!  They were two of my favorite shows as they were set in Milwaukee!  I have lived in a suburb outside of Milwaukee since 1979!  They used many local names and places in the show--it was fun to watch each episode.  And, what made Milwaukee famous--Beer!  And, those funny ladies both worked at Shotz Brewery. I knew the route I was going to take.  Ready?  Set.  Go!

I used a stamp set that I have had for a few years, but I am not sure it has ever been inked up.  I remember buying it at a stamp show in Madison.  It has a huge beer mug image with the word Cheers printed all over it.  The set also has some fun sentiments-so I picked a birthday sentiment.  I hope my friends like my memory of 1978!

Here is the inside of my card:

Please be sure to check out the other Ready, Set, Go cards.  Here is a link to Jeanette's and Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards! I hope Kelly and Jeanette like my card and that you might too! Kelly is up for the next theme, so be sure to check back to see what we are up to on the 3rd Wednesday in November!

Kindness!

It is the 15th of the month and that means I am showing you a new Dueling Darlings card.  For our October Challenge, Kelly and Jeanette are the hostesses! They decided on the theme-Kindness!   Jeanette is the leader of the Dazzlers and Kelly is the leader of the Divas, the team I am on, and we are all Dueling Darlings!

Kelly sent each of the Divas this sweet image by Unity.  The sentiment I used is from Simon Says Stamps.  Kelly included some great patterned papers and matching embellishments.   I used one of my Gina Marie dies to make a frame around this cute image to look like a picture representing real kindness!  I enjoyed coloring and making this card.

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope all of the Darlings enjoy my card this month. Please be sure to stop in to see what all of the Divas as well the Dazzlers have created this month.  Laura Jean and Darlene are up for the November theme, so be sure to check back!

There are a few members who do not have blogs:  Suzy and Terry S who both are on the Diva team, and Terry APaola and Debby who are Dazzlers.  You will be able to check out their creations in their SCS gallery, if you click on the link for their name.  All of the others should be found on my left sidebar.  I am sure you will enjoy all of the wonderful creations this month!
