Amazing Life!

This card is for the monthly swap that Pam hosts on SCS.  Each month we make 10 cards and include a matching envelope.  They can be any theme for any month.  All of the swappers are wonderful and I have received awesome cards each and every month.

I inked a stamp from the Stampin' Up Amazing Life.  I went with some fun birthday patterned paper from the It's My Party Designer Series Paper.    I think everyone can use a birthday  card!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Pam and the others swappers like my card this month!

Tea Together

This is my card for March's Monthly Challenge for the Creative Card Chicks.  This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items to complete the challenge each month.

Roxie the hostess this month and sent everyone these great tea cup images from Stampin' Up. She also included a tea bag--and I will sure enjoy that!  She also sent pretty patterned paper along with other cute embellishments.  She had die cute the large teapot after she stamped it on patterned paper and that is the one I picked for my card.

Here is the inside of my card, with a piece of the pretty patterned paper in the back:

The Creative Card Chicks are to post our cards between the 21st and 23rd of each month--so if you check the blogs on my sidebars, you may see more of these wonderful creations! Many of our members also post their card in our SCS thread--so you might find more there.  We will be back next month and Kelly H is the hostess, so be sure to come back and join us again in April!

Ready? Set. Go!

Today is the third Wednesday of the month and that means a Ready, Set, Go Challenge Card! The 3 Musketeers and the One Plus Twelve Ladies--Jeanette, Kelly and Me, are back with another challenge for March--our 22nd month!  We are now coming to the end year #2!

I provided the challenge for March: We post on March 20th and that is the first day of spring in 2019.  My challenge for you is to design a card or project that shows an obscure sign of spring—not the typical rain boots, birds, umbrellas, etc.  It can be something that you remember from being young or something from school that you recall. Or, do some research on the web to see how spring is celebrated in other countries or any uncommon sign of spring!  Ready, Set, GO!

I did the research option and looked to see if there was any interesting ways spring is celebrated in Germany.  I found a website that was titled--10 days Germans welcome spring.  Perfect!  One of the items noted is many German families head to theme parks in the spring to celebrate spring and the end of a long winter.  I thought I would go with that!

I inked up a fun Stampin' Up set called Carousel Birthday.  I picked some fun spring colors to make a cute Ferris Wheel full of cupcakes!

Here is the inside of my card:

Please be sure to check out the other Ready, Set, Go cards.  Here is a link to Jeanette's and Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards! I hope Kelly and Jeanette like my card.  Jeanette is  up for the next theme, so be sure to check back to see what we are up to on the 3rd Wednesday in April!   I am sure she will come up with a fun challenge!

Mystery Image Swap

This card is for a Mystery Swap on SCS. A group of us do a bi-monthly swap where we all use the same mystery image, sent to us by the hostess. This swap was created by Forest Ranger—Jeanette and we are now in our 51st round!  Terry is our hostess this month and she sent everyone this great birthday image.  I love it that their birthday hats are in the fire of the candles!  Terry will swap the cards and send everyone the next image, which Vickie picked out! We then get to do it all again, for round #52, in May!

Here is the inside of my card, with a sentiment Terry also sent:

I hope all of the mystery swappers like my card.  If you check my sidebar on the left, you might see some other swappers who have posted their cards today or in the next few days.
