Give me Chocolate

This is my card for our every other month swap for an awesome group of ladies on SCS--the SOTC--Sisters of the Traveling Cards!  Jeanette is our hostess for March and April--she posted the following:

Theme: What’s Cookin’, Sistah?

For your cards this round, I’d like you to go with a cooking, food, recipe theme. You can put an actual recipe on/in your card, if you’d like, but you don’t’ have to. You can use a chef or food stamp/image. Your card can be all about Pizza or Coffee or Burgers Grilling on the Grill. It can be about Cupcakes or Caramel Apples or Ice Cream Treats. (I could go on and on. ) You can use designer papers of cooking utensils or food items. You can add apple brads or teacup charms. You can use recycled kitchen items on your card - bread clips, mesh from apple bags, cardboard from cracker boxes, etc. The ideas are almost limitless.  Use your creativity and make cards that in some way show What’s Cookin’.

Well--I am not sure that candy or specifically M&M's counts as Cookin', but I am sure almost everyone one of the sistahs has a bag of these babies someplace in their house-and maybe one in their stamp room to snack on.  It is a proven fact that stamping and the mojo needed to create cards is enhanced by chocolate!

I hope Jeanette and the other SOTC gals like my card!

And--on a special personal note....................  today I get to hand deliver these cards to Jeanette as she is going to be at my house for a mini-stamping day, along with 4 other stampers! Carol will be here and she is also a member of the SOTC. Terry, LJ and Darlene are the other three ladies who will be here and I have had the pleasure of meeting all of them before. Most of the others have never met and I am so excited for us all to get together!  I am sure we will have a blast making some cards at my house, checking out some local stamping stores, laughing tons and maybe, just maybe, a few bits of chocolate!
