SOTC Masculine Card

This is my card for our every other month swap for an awesome group of ladies on SCS--the SOTC--Sisters of the Traveling Cards!  Gael is our hostess for June and she posted the following:

Have you ever noticed that the majority of masculine-labeled cards are either football/baseball, hunting/fishing, golf, tools, Nascar? Not one of those themes would be appropriate for The Man in my house. Therefore, your challenge is to create a man's card that has NONE of those stereotypical things that first spring to mind. Also, you must use at least one non-earth tone somewhere on your card. (In other words, something bright)

I love this masculine Stampin' Up set Dapper Dad and have used all three of the stamps. I took out the shoe stamp and matched it up with some argyle patterned paper--and I hope Gael thinks this green is bright!

Here is the inside of my card:

Image/Sentiment—Stampin' Up Dapper Dad/Really Retro

Cardstock—SU Old Olive, Gina K Fresh Asparagus; PTI Rustic Cream; Graphic 45 A Proper Gentlemen Collection-Sporting Aristocrat Patterned Paper

Ink—SU Old Olive

Accessories—SU Punches; Cream Brads;

Great card Barb! Love the colours and the way the argyle theme pervades the card.

Terrific masculine card, Barb! Good color combo along with the argyle pattern in paper and shoe image!
