Welcome Baby

Today is the last day of Janyary and I am posting a set of cards for our challenge-The Catch-up Club! A few of my stamping friends, Darlene, Jeanette and Terry along with myself, have signed up for a number of virtual stamping events in the past 4+ years.  One of the benefits of these events are that they are available to rewatch or even watch for the first time at a later date as they are all recorded. The 4 of us "try" to watch live and chat by texting during the event.  But, life steps in and there are times when one or more of us are not participating during the live.  Then, the kits from sponsors sits in our stamping area until we are ready to watch the video and create.  During one of the events, we decided we needed to push ourselves (and each other) to get some of these events done!   So--we all decided to devote one day a month, the last day of the month for the somewhat procrastinators that we are, to post cards we missed making.

So--here we are in our 32nd month of The Catch Up Club!

Reminder--these are not my own designs!  The cards are the designs of the other instructors from these classes.  I am just recreating the cards from the class. This month the creations are from Scrapbook & Cards Fall 2025 Crop & Create Delivered event, and the Welcome Baby class taught by Nicole Peterson and Picket Fence Studio.

We received an awesome set of dies in our box from SCT.  There were 11 dies in the set and 4 of the dies cut numerous little pieces--all baby related!  The main die is Welcome Baby Double Word Topper. I used glitter cardstock to cut out the words on my dies.  We also received a polka dots stencil and some ink cubes, along with glitter, sequins and a small bottle of gold splatter. The cards showcased a canopy  over a crib with some bunnies in it, a mobile with lots of add-ons and the third card with cute baby outfits.  They were fun cards to make!

I have a few more classes from the fall class to make and hope to finish in the next few weeks.  The spring 2026 one is coming up the last weekend in March, so I so NEED to be done by then!

I hope you enjoyed my cards!  Here are the links to the other of the Catch Up Club.  Please be sure to check out Jeanette's, Terry's, and Darlene's blogs.  They may post today or in the next few days but we have all promised to post cards that we have missed the making along the way!  Come back in February to see what else I am behind on!

SCT Celebrations Delivered #3

Today is the last day of December and I am posting a set of cards for our challenge-The Catch-up Club! So--here we are in our 15th month of The Catch Up Club!

Reminder--these are not my own designs!  The cards are the designs of the other instructors from these classes.  I am just recreating the cards from the class. This month the creations are from the SCT Celebrations Delivered and this Cathy Zielske's class.  This virtual class was in February 2024, so I am slowly catching up.  There is another SCT class this February and of course I signed up!

This kit came with a sweet stamp set, 40 dies, 3 stencils and all of the needed cardstock. This kit included many items to celebrate milestones--like a new home, graduation, new baby, wedding, etc.  It was an amazing kit and the class by CZ was so fun!

This is the last class from this event to make!!!!!  Yay, it feels so good to have another event done!  Now, I have parts of other virtual events and classes from 2023 and 2024 that need to be completed.  And, I have 3 events coming up in February and I am able to watch one live. I am already way behind, so more Catch Up to Come!

I hope you enjoyed my cards!  Here are the links to the other of the Catch Up Club.  Please be sure to check out Jeanette's, Terry's, and Darlene's blogs.  They may post today or tomorrow, but we have all promised to post cards that we have missed the making along the way!

Celebrations Delivered Class 1

I am now moving on to another virtual card event from 2024. This time it is the Celebrations Delivered event that was held in February.  Yes, close to a year ago!  There were three classes along with a special class by Jennifer McGuire.  We received a pouch filled to the brim a sweet stamp set, 40 dies, 3 stencils and all of the needed cardstock. This kit included many items to celebrate milestones--like a new home, graduation, new baby, wedding, etc.

Reminder--these are not my own designs!  The cards are the designs of the other instructors from these classes.  I am just recreating the cards from the class. This class was taught by the very talented and funny Mindy Eggen.

This class by Mindy was very fun. We used the stencils on all three cards along with some ink blending. I love the dimension on all of the cards!

I have two more classes from this event to make. I hope to finish soon as I still have more pouches on the shelf, and a few virtual events in the next 6 weeks!

Bootie Babies

This is my card for a swap called the SIS--Surprise Image Swap.   This is card #16 for our group.  It is a bi-monthly swap where we all use the same image, sent to us by the hostess.  The surprise part is that we are to not discuss the image at all until the day they are to be posted--the 18th of every other month.   The sweet image for this round was provided by Carol!  She will swap the cards and include the new image for round #17 that Terry will have stamped in each return envie. Then--we do it all again in October!

Carol sent us this adorable image from House Mouse called Bootie Babies.  She also included a sentiment, but I decided to not use it.   I colored each of the images with my Copic Sketch Markers and die cut with a Gina Marie Stitched Oval.  I picked out sweet blue baby patterned paper and used Gina K Designs Master Layouts 2 for the panel.  I added a blue brad on the bow and some Balmy Blue Ribbon as a flag.  This was a fun card to make!

If you check some of the other blogs listed on my sidebars, you may find some other swappers who have posted their creations.  The due date is today, the 18th, or they may post in the upcoming days. You can also check out SCS and use the keyword SIS16 to see some posted there.  I hope everyone in the swap likes my card--and that you do too!

Friday's With The Project Bin

It is Friday, so  that means that I am back with another card for The Project Bin Stamps--A Way With Words!  Every Friday,  I post a card made from one of their great photopolymer stamp sets.  So, please plan to come back each week to see what I have created--I think you too will love these great sentiment stamp sets.  And, remember, some of the sets come with matching steel dies! Denise is the owner, founder and creator of these wonderful stamp sets.  The sentiments she has for us to ink up are just perfect for any holiday or time of year.  Please be sure to go and check them out!

I am so excited to see what great stamp sets Denise has in mind for the future.  I am sure she will have some wonderful sentiments for us to ink up and for you to consider purchasing!  I just know you too will love creating cards with these stamp sets!!!

If you want to check out more creations from the design team, be sure to check out The Project Bin Blog as often as you can.  Every day there is a different card posted by one of more of the design team members.

I used one of my older stamp sets called Many More. This set comes with 10 clear stamps with some awesome sentiments--perfect for your cards for any occasion or holiday!  I think it makes a cute baby card and I also attached a sweet diaper pin brad.

Here is the Many More stamp set:

Tickled Pink

This is my October card for the monthly themed swap that Terry is hosting on SCS.  Each month she will post a theme and we make cards using any stamp set we believe follows that thought. This is our 34th month and the theme for October is "Tickled Pink ". We were to use an image that makes us laugh or a pink card.  I went with a cute baby card, using a fun Unity stamp!  And, the names of the stamp set is Tickled Pink!!!!!!  I am sure there will be some wonderful cards this month.

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Terry and the others swappers like my card this month too!  Terry will be posting the November theme today, so be sure to come back in to see what we create!

Camp Stamp-in-Oga Sketch Challenge Card

This is one of the two cards I made for the challenges for Camp Stamp-In-Oga, which is being held tomorrow. This is a great event that is organized by my Stampin' Up demo and her buddy Cheryl that is held three times a year.  This is the final one in 2016 and is being held at my church, so it is less than 5 minutes away. It is a great time, with a stamp class in the morning where we make 5 cards.  Then, some of the stampers plan to stay for the rest of the day and stamp away until close to midnight.  There are raffles and prizes and great food.  It is such a fun day!

This is for the sketch challenge. If you check my post on Sunday, you will my card for the color challenge.  I am hoping one of the two is a winner!

Welcome Baby

This is my card for the monthly themed swap that Makani is now hosting on SCS.  Each month she will post a theme and we make cards using a Stampin' Up set that we believe follows that thought. This is our second month and the theme was "Warm Fuzzies".  I struggled a bit with coming up with a image to use for the theme--but I figured that every baby loves to be snuggled and is a warm fuzzy for all!

I hope Makani and the others swappers like my card this month!  I cannot wait to see what our theme is for February and Makani will post that today!
