Sending Hugs!

This is my card for August's Monthly Challenge for the Creative Card Chicks.  This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items to complete the challenge each month. This is the third month of our new round--join me through the rest of 2020 and into 2021.

Maggie is the hostess this month and sent everyone this great image from CC Designs called Scaredy Cat. Maggie also included two fun sentiments and some cute patterned paper.

I colored the image with my Copic Sketch Markers.  I used two of the patterned papers for the background.   I added one of the sentiments, but I am not sure any one is taking me up on a hug from this cat!

Here is the inside of my card:

The Creative Card Chicks are to post our cards between the 21st and 23rd of each month--so if you check the blogs on my sidebars, you may see more of these wonderful creations!  Many of our members also post their card in our SCS thread--so you might find more there.  Be sure to come back and join us again in September with an image that Terry sends out.

Cupcake Kiki

Today is the 18th and the due date for a Mystery Swap on SCS. This is my card for that swap.  It is a group of us who do a bi-monthly swap where we all use the same mystery image, sent to us by the hostess. This swap was created by Forest Ranger—Jeanette--back in 2010 and we are now in our 59th round!  Diane is our hostess this month and sent everyone this sweet image from CC Designs Kiki La Rue called Cupcake Kiki. She will swap out the cards and send everyone the next image, which Kathi picked out! We then get to do it all again, for round #60, in September!

I think the image is so sweet and I colored with with my Copic Sketch Markers.  I cut the image and layer from my Sizzix Dotted Ovals.  The background paper is from the Bella Blvd Birthday Boy line called Eat Cake.  A few enamel dots are the only embellishment!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Diane and all of the mystery swappers like my card.  If you check my sidebar on the left, you might see some other swappers who have posted their cards today or in the next few days.

Mystery Revealed ~ Mrs. Claus

This card is for a Mystery Swap on SCS. A group of us are doing a bi-monthly swap where we all use the same mystery image, sent to us by the hostess. This swap was created by Forest Ranger—Jeanette and we are now in our second cycle.   Paola is the hostess this month and she chose a sweet C. C. Designs image.   Paola will swap the cards--then send us the next image,  which Kate is going to sent to her.  I can't wait to get the swap cards back to see how everyone else used the same image. Then everyone gets to do it all over again!

When I saw this image, it just put a big smile on my face.  Mrs. Claus is quite a hottie and I wanted to be sure to use some bold colors for the patterned paper.  I also wanted to use a witty sentiment on the inside.  I think this one fits!  I also thought of "be naughty-save Santa a trip!"

I hope everyone who gets my card likes my card!
