Single Iris

This card is for the monthly swap that Pam hosts on SCS.  Each month we make 10 cards and include a matching envelope.  They can be any theme for any month.  All of the swappers are wonderful and I have received awesome cards each and every month.

I went with a simple layout and embellishments this month as I wanted the colors of the image to stand out.

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Pam and the others swappers like my card this month!

Girls of the Bakers Dozen Challenge

This is a card I made for March's Monthly Challenge for the Girls of the Baker's Dozen.  This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items to complete the challenge each month.  Sue is the hostess and she gave us a different type of challenge.  She did not send any images-but she sent two embossed panels, along with some sweet DSP and other embellishments.  She said we could add an image or sentiment, or not.

I trimmed and layered the birthday embossed and added a birthday sentiment over the top.  I really like the way the card turned out!

Here is the inside of my card:

This was a fun kit and a great challenge too. I hope Sue and the others like my card.   Jeanette is up for the next kit in April--I cannot wait to see what she picks.  Stay tuned...........................

Dueling Darlings go to the Dogs!

If you are looking for my {PIN}Spirational Challenge or TCCCB Post , please scroll down. It is another three post day!

It is the 15th of the month and that means we get to show off a new Dueling Darlings challenge. For the March Challenge, Shelly and Carol are the Darlings who decided on the theme.  Shelly is a Darling and Carol is a Diva, my team!

The theme or challenge they picked is "For the Dogs".  This is what Carol wrote for the Divas:  This month rather than going with the traditional St Patrick's Day holiday/theme, we searched the weird holidays for March. On the 10-13 it is Crufts--the worlds largest dog show and on the 23rd is National Puppy day.....thus leading for the theme "for the dogs". I hope you are liking your kits....as an extra bonus question....if you would like to share. Did you have a pet growing up...if so what kind and name.

Here is the inside of my card:

I did have a few dogs growing up as we lived on a farm. We typically had collies and I still love them today.  We do not have any dogs now, but we do dog sit for a couple of friends a few times a year--and love it!  I am also on the Humane Society Board and spend time with many shelter animals.

I hope Carol and the other Darlings enjoy my card.

Sophie

It is time for another The Three Musketeers post. We are ready to showcase the card we all created with the image Jeanette provided this month for Card #18!  We have been doing this for more than a year and a half now and it has been blast! I am up next for the April challenge--I have already stamped the new image and I think it will be quite a fun challenge!  Be sure to come back to see what we create!

For our card this month, Jeanette sent us the cutest, sweetest, darling little girl, spring image.  I love pretty much any Whipper Snapper image, Sophie is one of my favorites!!!

Please check out the other Musketeer's cards.  Here is a link to Jeanette's blog along with Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards!  They may post today, or it may be upcoming, so be sure to check out their blog for their card!
