I'd Pick You!

This is a card I made for April's Monthly Challenge for the Girls of the Baker's Dozen.  This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items to complete the challenge each month.  Jeanette was the hostess and sent us a bunch of cute flower images and sentiments.  Jeanette wrote--This month being April, I'm thinking of warmer weather, springtime activities and lots of flowers.  She picked the theme--If friends were flowers, I'd pick you" because she truly does treasure our friendships.  And--I so appreciate all of my friends in this group and all of my card groups too!  This is the last month of a post as the Baker's Dozen--we return in May with Suzy's image as Creative Card Chicks!

Here is the inside of my card:

This was a fun kit and I hope the Jeanette and the others like my card.

Girls of the Bakers Dozen Challenge

This is a card I made for March's Monthly Challenge for the Girls of the Baker's Dozen.  This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items to complete the challenge each month.  Sue is the hostess and she gave us a different type of challenge.  She did not send any images-but she sent two embossed panels, along with some sweet DSP and other embellishments.  She said we could add an image or sentiment, or not.

I trimmed and layered the birthday embossed and added a birthday sentiment over the top.  I really like the way the card turned out!

Here is the inside of my card:

This was a fun kit and a great challenge too. I hope Sue and the others like my card.   Jeanette is up for the next kit in April--I cannot wait to see what she picks.  Stay tuned...........................

Right at Home

This is a card and tag I made for a new group I am a member of on SCS.  It is called the Girls of the Baker's Dozen.  This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items along with a challenge each month.  Debby was the hostess for June and sent us this cute image from an older Stampin' Up set--Right at Home. She also sent us a card base along with some papers and embellishments.  Debby challenged us to also make a tag with remaining parts of the kit.

I plan to use the tag to put over the neck of a bottle of wine to bring to a friend's house where we are staying for a weekend in August!

This was a fun kit and I know the next kit from Kelly is in the mail now--Yippee!
