Music in the Forest

Here I am with the first of the two cards that I made Jeanette’s newest forest swap on SCS—the theme is “Music in the Forest”.  I realize there is nothing “forestry” on this card—However…..the forest is the place we visit and chat and chat some more.  We were directed to make a card that reminds us of music.  I used a couple of musical elements--the stamp, the embossing folder (a new one I got last year and really like it as it is two-side; the other side has notes) and musical note vellum--not sure when I last used vellum........

Image/Sentiment—Hero Arts Musical Clef

Cardstock—Gina K Designs White, Black;  It Takes Two Notes Vellum

Ink—Stampin' Up Basic Black

Accessories—Spellbinders Bossibilities Music Embossing Folder; White Brads; White Sheer Ribbon

We must be thinking alike, I just launched my music post! I love how you are so comfortable using the black and white combo -I struggle so with that but you do it marvelously!

Pretty stamp. I really think that it looks great in black. Perfect musical card.

Wow, wow, WOW! What an incredible image that is!! The black & white is so elegant, perfect for the flourishes on the treble clef. The music vellum is a great addition too. Love this card, Barb. I could think of several people to give it to. Hmmmm, maybe I'll have to put in a request to Jeanette!
