Dueling Darling Divas June Card---The Great Outdoors

Here is my card (and a 2^ndsurprise card further down on the post) for round #11 of our very friendly duel.

The theme this month is “The Great Outdoors”. I am the hostess this month, along with Michelle, the Dazzlers’ hostess. As in all past duels, there is a twist as well as a request for a story…… First the story—we are to share an experience about the Great Outdoors: In 1986, I drove my mom and dad out west to visit some relatives. We visited Glacier and Yellowstone Parks as well as the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, the Corn Palace, etc. It was a wonderful trip and the last vacation we all had together. We did not camp, but stayed in hotels as well as with relatives. It was a fun road trip as we shopped for food and had picnics often along the way.

But, here is the twist—Michelle and I also traded packets, so I also made a card with the items the Dazzler’s received. And, we were so close to having the same image as I too have this stamp and thought about using it—how funny that would have been!
