Dueling Darlings-Planes, Trains & Automobiles

It is the 15th of the month and that means another Dueling Darlings challenge.  Our hostess this month for the Divas is Carol.   The theme this month is Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

November is Aviation History month and National Model Railroad Day.  With those things in mind, the theme of Planes, Trains and Automobiles was hatched.  It is based on the movie by the same name, which has the characters trying to get home for Thanksgiving.

So—here is the card with one of the images that Carol sent.  She also sent loads of cute papers and embellishments.

Here is the inside of my card.

Also--we are welcoming a new member to our Dueling Darling--and she is a Diva!  Please be sure to welcome Kadie and check out her blog!

Image/Sentiment—Studio 112 Plane

Ink—Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper—Stampin’ Up Basic Black and Basic Gray; Graphic 45 patterned papers and flash cards

Accessories—Nestabilities labels 14; Black Ric Rac; Black Button with Ivory button on top and Cranberry Bakers Twine; White Gel Pen;

Please be sure to stop in to see what all of the Divas as well the Dazzlers have created this month.  All of the blogs are on the left sidebar of my blog.  I am sure you will enjoy all of the creations for our journey of trying to get home for Thanksgiving, via Planes, Trains or Automobiles! Thanks for joining us!!!!!!

What a creative card! I don't know which I like better - the inside or the outside! Both are just super. Is that faux stitching around the image on the front? Very effective! Love the front layout.
The inside compliments the front's theme perfectly! And the fun little circle with the guy dashing to his gate or train terminal is so cute!

I'm not sure which I love more, the inside or the outside. Such a great masculine card! and great idea to use dark card-stock as the base, it makes the rest of the card really "pop"!
