We are honoring Diane today

If you are looking for my {PIN}Spirational Challenge or my Twist of Faith Post, please scroll down.  It is a three-for-the blog day!

It is the 5th of the month, so I am back with another challenge of the Crafty Gals! We are a group of bloggers who have monthly challenges, caring comments & fun chit chat on SCS—our favorite stamping site to visit.

This year our challenges are going to be a bit different. Each month, Melina will chose one of our group to highlight and our challenge is to CASE a card from her blog—or make a card that highlights some of her loves. This month the person to CASE is Diane!  Here is a link to her blog.

I found a card that use the triple-time stamping technique that many stampers use for awesome looking cards.  I have not tried to make one yet--but I have all of the details and measurements printed out.  I thought it would make a pretty winter card.

Here is the inside of the card, with a simple blue snowflake brad:

I do hope Diane likes my take on her card. I hope And-I hope the rest of the Crafty Girls also like my card this month!

Barb, this card is so pretty with all the layers! Funny thing is, I almost CASE'd that card from Diane's blog, too... but then decided to go with a different idea. I love the snowflake inside, too. Ties everything together nicely!

Isn't that technique fun?! I used it once, need to again. I love the colors hues of blue. Of course I HAVE to mention you have the perfect BRAD!

What a stunning card, Barb! Those colors are so rich and beautiful. I've not tried this technique, it looks hard, but the end result is gorgeous. That snowflake brad inside is so nice, just the right finishing touch.

I almost CASED this card from her blog too! But, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do it right. LOL You did a fabulous job with this technique! Thanks so much for being a part of the Crafty Gals Blog group! BIG HUGS! :)

Your version of this technique is awesome with the blue snowflakes. I also love how you always decorate the inside of your cards. Thanks honoring me this month.

WOW - your first attempt is PERFECT!! (But then gee, I wouldn't expect anything less from a great stamper like you :) ). Beautiful!! I love all the snowflakes (even if it does remind me that winter is just around the corner).
