Joy To The World

 

I was texting with a friend recently about all of the sales happening before Thanksgiving and Black Friday.  We were chatting about a newer Taylored Expressions die set called Joy to the World.  I was encouraging my friend to get this set and sent a picture of the package that was unopened!  So, as I enabling her to buy the set, I "needed" to try it out and made 2 cards.

I first watched a short You-Tube video that Taylored Expressions posted on how the 3 dies work to make a card.  I actually used some colors close to what was being demonstrated.  The card on the left has dimensionals between each of the layers and the one on the right was adhered flat.  I like the left one with the depth.  I did not do anything special with the sky as it is the white card base.  I might do some ink bending or use a background stamp that looks like small stars or dots next time.  The sentiment was from my stash and was already foiled.   I added a rhinestone in the middle of the star.   I think these cards are so pretty.  And, YES, my friend did order the die set too!
