Hoppy Easter

This is my February card is for the monthly swap that Pam hosts on SCS.  Each month we make 10 cards and include a matching envelope.  They can be any theme for any month.  All of the swappers are wonderful and I have received awesome cards each and every month.

I inked up a Whipper Snapper Designs stamp called Lil' Easter Basket!  I colored the basket image with my Copic Markers.  I also added a sentiment from Stampendous called Hoppy Wishes!  These are layered over Doodlebug Easter Parade-Colored Eggs patterned paper for the background.  I think everyone can use a sweet Easter Card!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Pam and the others swappers like my card this month!

Dueling Darlings

It is the 15th of the month and that means I am showing you a new Dueling Darlings card.  For our February Challenge, Carol and Shelly are the hostesses. They decided on the theme-Let Me Call You Sweetheart!  Shelly is one of the Dazzlers and Carol is a Diva, like me. And we are all Dueling Darlings!  And, we have been doing this since August of 2010--so we are into our 9th year!

Carol sent out this sweet image from Inkadinkadoo.  She also sent some sweet patterned paper along with a variety of fun embellishments. This was fun card to make and I hope the other Divas thought so too!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope all of the Darlings enjoy my card this month. Please be sure to stop in to see what all of the Divas as well the Dazzlers have created this month.  Tami and Terry are the hostesses for March, so be sure to check back next month.

There are a few members who do not have blogs:  Suzy who is on the Diva team and Debby and
Terry S who are Dazzlers.  You will be able to check out their creations in their SCS gallery, if you click on the link for their name.  All of the others should be found on my left sidebar.  I am sure you will enjoy all of the wonderful creations this month!

Happy 90th Birthdays!

It is time for another Hot Mess card and this is card number 7.   The idea of Hot Mess ~ Success started with Kelly and the general theme is to Get Messy and you will have Success!  Messiness can be almost anything that we come up with--glitter, alcohol inks, glimmer glitz, sponged backgrounds, etc., anything that is a bit messy.  We are a group of 4--Terry, Jeanette, Kelly and me. We will post a card each month on the 12th. Some times there is a theme-like this month.  And, other times we just get creative and messy!

For this month's messiness, I issued a challenge to use red on the card.  I used Gina K Designs Gold Glitter Glitz Gel and a great stencil from Simon Says Stamp called Confetti for the background. I then cut the Stampin' Up Celebrate die three times from Gold Metallic and the number 90, also from Stampin' Up from Cherry Cobbler.  This card is going to a great couple, Dave and Jane, who are both turning 90 in a week-Jane on the 18th and Dave on the 22nd.  Dave is a retired AD that I have know for more than 25 years and they are such a sweet couple!  I hope they enjoy their card!

Here is the inside of my card, using the MFT Cheers Die:

Here are the links to the other members of Hot Mess ~ Success.  Please be sure to check out Jeanette's, Terry's and Kelly's blogs. I am sure you will enjoy seeing how everyone got messy and was successful in making some great cards!   We will all be back each month this year, so be sure to check back to see what we are up to on March 12th with the theme Terry provided!

Hop Hop Hurray!!!

It is the 10th of the month and that means it is time for my card for the monthly themed swap that Terry is hosting on SCS. Each month she will post a theme and we make cards using any stamp set we believe follows that thought. This is our 48th month--just finished year number 4 and the theme for February is "Leap Year--things that leap or jump".

I picked a fun stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs called Hop Hop Hurray!!  I colored the image with my Copics, layered it with Gina Marie Stitched Rectangle Dies and used the background paper from Doodlebug called Petite Prints--Limeade Gingham.

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Terry and the others swappers like my card this month too! Terry has already posted the March theme and the ones for the rest of the year, for the over achievers!  Be sure to come back in to see what we create!

Birthday Bus

It is time for another The Three Musketeers post. We are ready to showcase the card we all created with the image that I sent for February--for Card #66!  That means we nearing the end of year #5--can you believe that?  All three of us sure have enjoyed the challenges every month and we hope that it continues for a long time!  Jeanette is up next for the March challenge.  Be sure to come back to see what we create!

For our card this month, I sent out images from an Avery Elle called Birthday Bus!  It includes the great bus, the cake and presents on the top along with some fun sentiments. There are also dies to cut out all of the images--how great is that!  I cut out a couple of buses and left some whole, so Kelly and Jeanette could have some choices.

I loved coloring up this image with my Copic Markers. I layered it over some fun patterned paper from a Creative Memories package called Vacation.  I think it is perfect for this card with the bright, primary colors!  The birthday cake and presents are riding on top of the bus as it is full of some fun animals!  I hope you enjoy my card!

Here is the inside of my card with one of the sentiments:

Please check out the other Musketeer's cards.  Here is the link to Jeanette's blog along with Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards!  They may post today or tomorrow, so be sure to check out their blogs for their card!   As I mentioned, Jeanette is up for our March challenge, so please come back!

Love One Another!

Here is my February Crafters of Faith card as we are continuing in 2020.  This is a great group that my friend Kelly started on SCS. and we are in our 4th year. Faye gave everyone this challenge:

Scripture:  Psalms 63:3-4 make a card to express your love of God.

Challenge:  February is often thought of as the month of love. I want to think of the love of God. Using this old hymn "The Love of God is Greater Far"

I thought this theme would make a good Valentine or card of Love.  I went to my bin of Our Daily Bread stamps and picked this set called Love One Another.  It is a cute image of intertwined hearts along with the great sentiment from John 13:34.  I colored the roses and ribbon on the hearts pink with my Copic Markers.  I even stamped the image with Stampin' Up Real Red instead of the traditional black ink.

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Faye along the others from the Crafters of Faith group like my card this month!  We are to post between the 7th and 10th of each month, so if you look on my sidebar, you may see other creations.  I know that there will be many posted in the COF thread on SCS too!  Sue is up for our March challenge, so be sure to check back to see what I create!

It is Friday, so  that means that I am back with another card for The Project Bin Stamps--A Way With Words!  This year, we are changing our posting dates and I am posting every first and third Friday, using one of the great photopolymer stamp sets from this sweet company.  So, please plan to come back to see what I have created--I think you too will love these great sentiment stamp sets.  And, remember, some of the sets come with matching steel dies! Denise is the owner, founder and creator of these wonderful stamp sets.  The sentiments she has for us to ink up are just perfect for any holiday or time of year.  Please be sure to go and check them out!

I am so excited to see what great stamp sets Denise has in mind for the future.  I am sure she will have some wonderful sentiments for us to ink up and for you to consider purchasing!  I just know you too will love creating cards with these stamp sets!!!
If you want to check out more creations from the design team, be sure to check out The Project Bin Blog as often as you can.  Every day there is a different card posted by one of the design team members.

For my first card for February, I used the newest stamp set called Just Sayin'.  This set comes with 17 great sentiments with some wonderful sentiments to mix and match to come up with your perfect message--from Happy Birthday to showing how much your friend means to you.  I love this sentiment and there are some of my wonderful friends I know I can call any time!
