It is the 15thof the month and that means we get to show off another Dueling Darlings challenge. Our hostesses for January are Carol for the Divas and Melina for the Dazzlers.
Whenever I think of Angels, I think of peace, tranquility and beautiful scenery/flower gardens, so that is the trip I took.
Carol send us two images--the sweet one that I used and the other one that you might see on some of the other Diva blogs.
I really wanted to use the string of pearls and are very cute on the card. They really are straight, though the picture does not reflect that.
Here is the inside of my card.
I really loved all of the sweet papers and embellishments that were in the kit. I thought of Carol when I used the glittery paper--she is the Glitter Queen.... I mean Angel!
Thanks Carol for a great theme and a wonderful kit to play with this month.

Oh my goodness, Barb... this card is drop-jaw gorgeous! One of my favorites you've ever made. Love the papers you chose to use --- and your coloring of the image coordinates so well with them. This is bright, cheerful, and oh-so-sweet, too!

Gorgeous card, Barb! That color scheme is so rich and beautiful. Love the layout and all the panels, how you used the string of pearls, the coloring of that sweet angel and the pretty panel inside the card.

This card turned out so pretty! I just loved that paper...I kinda wanted to hoard it...so I did! LOL
The textures and embellies are just great on this one. I know what you mean on the pearls...I am about ready to hit them with a spraying glue gun if there was such a thing! LOL
The patterned paper is lovely. Those pearls are so beautiful, and I like the idea of using a whole string. Might have to try that. Thank you for joining TTPH this week.
