Friday's With The Project Bin

It is Friday, so  that means that I am back with another card for The Project Bin Stamps--A Way With Words!  Every single Friday I will be posting a card made from one of their great photopolymer stamp sets.  So, please plan to come back each week to see what I have created--I think you too will love these great sentiment stamp sets.  And, remember, some of the sets come with matching steel dies! Denise is the owner, founder and creator of these wonderful stamp sets.  The sentiments she has for us to ink up are just perfect for any holiday or time of year.  Please be sure to go and check them out!

I am so excited to see what great stamp sets Denise has in mind for the future.  I am sure she will have some wonderful sentiments for us to ink up and for you to consider purchasing!  I just know you too will love creating cards with these stamp sets!!!

If you want to check out more creations from the design team, be sure to check out The Project Bin Blog as often as you can.  Every day there is a different card posted by one of more of the design team members.

For this card, I used a newer stamp set called Spring Zen. This set comes with 9 great stamps--three images and 6 coordinating sentiments.   It is the perfect set to use for spring cards!  I love the three images as they are in the Zentangle style and perfect for coloring!

It is Good Friday and I thought this would be a perfect image and sentiment to use.  I think this cross is so pretty and it is fun to color.

Here is the Spring Zen stamp set:

I hope you have enjoyed my card for The Project Bin. Check back on every week, any day for inspiration for the team but especially on Friday's to check out my cards. I am so excited to be on this wonderful design team!

Spring Tulips

This is my card for March's Monthly Challenge for the Creative Card Chicks.  This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items to complete the challenge each month. Paula is the hostess this month and sent everyone this pretty tulip Image.  She also sent great patterned paper along with some cute embellishments.

I sprayed some "Wink of Sarah" over my image.  I bet you wonder what that is?  At our January Camp Stamp-in-Oga, we each made a bottle of this and that is what we named it.  We took a full tube of Clear Wink of Stella and dumped it in a small glass bottle with a sprayer end.  We then filled the bottle with rubbing alcohol and we now have a shimmer spray to use on cards.  If you do this, be sure the little "shaker" ball is also put in so that you can shake up the solution.  It is fun to use for sure!  I am not sure if you can see the shimmer on my card.

Here is the inside of my card:

The Creative Card Chicks to post our cards between the 21st and 23rd of each month--so if you check the blogs on my sidebars, you may see more of these wonderful creations! Yes, I am very late this month and I know many have already posted. their cards. Many of our members also post their card in our SCS thread--so you might find more there.  Jeanette is up for the April Challenge.  Please be sure to come back to see what image we are using!

My Favorite Things!

This is my card for the March Challenge Your Stash group on SCS.  This is our 15th month of de-stashing--we are well into year #2!

The premise is to create a card or something else that uses only items that are in your own stamp room--nothing new is to be purchased.  The hostess each month posts their challenge to the group and the card is due to be posted on the 28th. Each person in the group creates their card with their own image, their own papers, their own embellishments with their own supplies--using up items from their own stash!  The card can be for any occasion and each person is encouraged to send the card on its way to someone so it can be admired.  It is a way for us to step out of the box a bit and create something that follows a challenge--isn't that what a challenge is supposed to be.  And--no money is spent as all items are to be already available in each of own stamping spaces.

Heather posted our March challenge--Create something specifically with YOU in mind

I first went to one of my favorite stamp companies--The Project Bin.  I love sentiment stamps and this set, Wise Women, has some awesome sayings by some famous women! I then used some of my favorite dies--the ones with the stitching!  Then, my background is designer series paper by Stampin' Up and I also added ribbon and brads--typical on many of my cards!  This was a fun card to make--thanks Heather for a fun challenge to use items in my stash!

If you check some of the blogs on my sidebar, you may find others who have posted their cards today or in the next day or so.  There may be more posted in the thread on SCS, so you might want to check out the link here.  We also have a keyword for the SCS Gallery--it is CYSMAR.  You might see many cards there is you do a search.

I hope you enjoyed my card and I know I am excited to check out what my other hoarders, I mean stash reducers have made!  Thanks for stopping by today!  For April, Sue is up and we will find out her theme soon.  Be sure to check back to see what we create on the 28th!

Ready ~ Set ~ Go!

Today is a Ready, Set, Go Challenge Card Day! We are a bit late this month, but that is OK as we are going to wow you--I am sure of that!  The 3 Musketeers (Jeanette, Kelly and me) are back with another challenge this month--our 11th month!

I provided the challenge for March:  There are currently 674 color challenges on SCS. Please pick two random numbers between 1-674. Go to the thread that lists the chart for your picked numbers. Choose one of the two color combos. I am giving you a choice of the two so you do not get "stuck" with a bad one. If you do not have the  Stampin' Up! color that is in the color combination, you can us some other color that's close. Sounds like a Fun and Colorful challenge.  Ready--set--go!

I picked numbers 381 and 452.  I went with 381--Pool Party, Island Indigo and Whisper White.  Sounds like a nautical card to me!  So, I inked up one of my The Project Bin stamps--Anchor's Away.  I think the sentiments in this set are so fun and I love the various blue colors!

Here is the inside of my card:

Please be sure to check out the other Ready, Set, Go cards.  Here is a link to Jeanette's and Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards! I hope Kelly and Jeanette like my card and that you might too!  Jeanette is up for the next theme, so be sure to check back to see what we are up to on the 3rd Wednesday in April!  That will be our one year anniversary card--so I am sure it will be a fun challenge!

Adjust the Sails!

This card is for the monthly swap that Pam hosts on SCS.  Each month we make 10 cards and include a matching envelope.  They can be any theme for any month.  All of the swappers are wonderful and I have received awesome cards each and every month.

I inked up a fun, masculine type sentiment stamp and I think it works well with the patterned paper.  I think everyone can use another masculine card like this!

Here is the inside of my card, with some Cherry Cobbler washi tape:

I hope Pam and the others swappers like my card this month!
