Today is the not the 9th of the month and I am late with my card for another The Three Musketeers post. This round, Jeanette was the hostess and sent us out a sweet bear image and a cute sentiment from the Penny Black set called Lovely Day. For April, this is card #140 and we are now in year #12! I cannot believe this trio has been going strong coming up on 13 years!
I colored the sweet bear image with my Copic Sketch Markers. I die cut the image and a green backer with an old set of Spellbinders circle dies. The background panel was embossed with a Taylored Expressions Burlap folder and I added a strip of patterned paper from The Paper Loft Huckleberry Pond line called Sleeping Bag. I added some linen thread behind the sentiment and some Stampin' Up dots around the circle. I hope Jeanette and Kelly along with you enjoy my card!
Please check out the other Musketeer's cards. Here is the link to Jeanette's blog along with Kelly's blog. I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of cute cards! You might need to go back a day or so as I am sure they were both on time! Kelly is up for our May challenge, so please be sure to join us again next month! And--I plan to post on the 9th!
