Spring Daffodils

 

This card will be posted later today on Instagram for a hop called Fans of Taylored Expressions! I love Taylored Expressions and many of my friends also do.  So--I wanted to join a group that loves them!!! And, I found my people!  The hop is always the third Saturday of every month. 

The theme for April is nature with an emphasis on spring. I love spring and all spring flowers. Our daffodils are now blooming in SE Wisconsin and the tulips are ready to bloom in the next few days.   

I picked an older and now retired Taylored  Expressions stamp and die set called Big Blooms Daffodils. I colored the fun image with my Copic Sketch Markers.  I picked 2 TE dies for the background--the Diamonds Piercing Plate along with one die from Better Half Cutting Plate.  I layered the Better Half plate twice and placed it in the center of the piercing plate. I placed the die cut floral image in the middle and the die cut sentiment along side the daffodils.  I added a bow from linen twine along with Clear Drip Drops for the final touch!

This hop on Instagram happens every month on the 3rd Saturday with different themes.   I know I will be back hopping in May!
