National Aviation History Month!

It is the 15^th of the month and that means I am showing you a new Dueling Darlings card.  For our November Challenge, Laura Jean and Darlene are the hostesses! They decided on the theme-National Aviation History Month! Darlene is one of the Dazzlers and Laura Jean is one of the Divas, the team I am on, and we are all Dueling Darlings!

Laura Jean gave us the following information-- National Aviation History Month is dedicated to exploring, recognizing and celebrating America’s great contributions and achievements in the development of aviation. Aviation history refers to the history of development of mechanical flight — from the earliest attempts in kites and gliders to powered heavier-than-air, supersonic and space flights".  LJ sent us a great image by Tim Holtz--stamped and already cut out!   The sentiment I picked as one of the two Quote Clips that she sent. She also included some great patterned papers and a kraft tag.  This was a quick and easy card to make--thanks LJ!

A Christmas Blessing

I am in a Christmas CraZy group on SCS. We each receive a card kit from another person in the group and made a card with the image and papers sent.  I recently sent Pam a kit and decided to stamp an extra image for me!    I really like the sentiment and I can always use another Christmas card!

Make it Plaid!

It is the 10th of the month and that means it is time for my card for the monthly themed swap that Terry is hosting on SCS.  Each month she will post a theme and we make cards using any stamp set we believe follows that thought. This is our 35th month and the theme for November is "Plaid ". We were to use plaid any form for this month's card.  I picked some green plaid paper and added a Whipper Snapper Designs image for a Thank You card.  I am sure there will be some wonderful cards this month.

It is time for another The Three Musketeers post. We are ready to showcase the card we all created with the image that Kelly sent for November--for Card #51!  That means we into year #5--can you believe that?!  All three of us sure have enjoyed the challenges every month and we hope that it continues for a long time!  Jeanette will be up next for the December challenge, so be sure to come back to see what we create!  

For our card this month, Kelly sent us this great Santa image from Stampendous. This image is so cute and the two guys just make me smile.   It will be a great Christmas card to send out this year!

Rejoice!

Here is my November Crafters of Faith card.  This is a great group that my friend Kelly started on SCS. This is our 23rd month and Vickie gave everyone this challenge: 

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 

challenge: anything goes!. 

I saw the word Rejoice first and I knew I needed to use one of my favorite Christmas stamps by Stampabilities.  I can always use more Christmas Cards!  It looks like the image is crooked on the card--but I did stamp it a few times and it was/is straight.  Must be the way it is photographed--yes, I am going with that!
