It is the 9th of the month and The Three Musketeers are back with another post. Yes, we have been busy this past month, creating a new card with the image Kelly provided for Round #3!
Kelly said she wanted to use a snowman image to celebrate her families great time in Tennessee over the holidays. However, since I sent a snowy image to use for December, she went with plan B and sent us an image she had never used. Challenge On!
I struggled deciding how to color the image. I decided to watercolor the ground and flowers in the basket using my aqua painter and the color from the inside of my Stampin' Up ink pad. I always have to remember that that water coloring is not an exact science and it does not look a "neat" as markers. I really like the way it did turn out! And, since it is Kelly's month, it had to have buttons!
Please check out the other Musketeer's cards. Here is a link to Jeanette's blog along with Kelly's blog. I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards! They may post today or within the next few days, so be sure to check out their cards!

Great take with Kelly´s Challenge, Barb. It´s interesting how different the cards are. I totally like your matching DP and your coloring !
LOOK AT YOU! Matching paper - oh Barb, this is amazing! I love the layout too and BUTTONS I see - hee hee! This is a wonderful coloring of an image that had me stumped but clearly you took the challenge head on and knocked this clear out of the park!
Impressive!
Stay warm up there and awesome job on the challenge! ♥
Love this Barb - the bike dp, with the bikes heading in the opposite direction is a fabulous touch, and your water colouring is perfect for the image.
Blessings

Fabulous job with the watercoloring. The flowers really pop off the paper, and speaking of paper, I love that dsp that you used.
