Kelly provided the challenge for May: Your theme is the 3 of 3's! Kelly asked us in February for a number between 1 and 805. May 20, 2020 is National Research Day. In keeping with the idea of #stayathome and #usewhatsavailable, we will go back in time and do some research and how to make your card for the 3 of 3's with a newer twist. It's a reflection of where we've been and we were are ~ the here and now. I chose the number 207, Jeanette picked 143 and Kelly's random number generator gave her 402.
Ready: Go to your blog. There are 3 of us so pick your 3rd year of blogging, 3rd month and 3rd card.
Set: You're going to recreate that card to the best of your abilities with the added twist of the numbers you chose. The twist is to use the number we picked. I have 207, so I need 2 of something and 7 of something else. Try to keep the theme-type of stamp, etc., Post the first card so we can see the before and after.
And Go.
Ready? Set? Go!
So, I went to March 7, 2012, my third card in March for my third year of blogging. This is the image that is there:
A few years ago I deleted a boat load of pictures in my Google Drive to free up space, and it was connected to blog, so I lost years of card pictures.................... But, in reading the description, I realized I still have the stamp--Whipper Snapper Designs Birthday "Potty". How Funny! Maybe because it is such a funny stamp! So, I inked it up and colored the image with my Copic Markers. I picked the fun It's My Party Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up for the background-and no, it was not because of the name!
Now--on to the added twist of the number 207. I could go easy and say I have 7 colors of Copic Markers--which I do! But, I also have 7 Enamel Dots on my card. I have 2 colors of cardstock and also 2 balloon brads.
It sure was a fun card to recreate--thanks for the fun challenge Kelly!
Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Kelly and Jeanette like my card. I am up for the next theme, so be sure to check back to see what we are up to on the 3rd Wednesday in June!

I'm just going to say this first and get it over with - your photo of the card from way back when looks a whole lot better than mine. LOL! Oh if only I had deleted a boatload of images from my google drive, too!
Funny thing, too - I own the stamp you used, too. Wonder why??? It's not one I've used much. LOL! I actually purchased it at the rummage sale at Oga.
Your card is adorable and I love the idea of using 7 Copic markers. You're so smart... and creative!
LOL! I love your card. I saw it earlier today in Instagram. I think you did a wonderful job! TFS!
What a fun card Barb - pity we can't 'see' the original, but so glad you figured what stamp set you used, and that you still had it on hand - great use of your numbers too.
Stay safe
Blessings
Maxine
