Today is the day I post a project for our Challenge Your Stash group on SCS. This is our 29th month of de-stashing-we are in our 3rd year into our challenges.
The premise is to create a card or something else that uses only items that are in your own stamp room--nothing new is to be purchased. The hostess each month posts their challenge to the group and the card is due to be posted on the 28th. Each person in the group creates their card with their own image, their own papers, their own embellishments with their own supplies--using up items from their own stash! The card can be for any occasion and each person is encouraged to send the card on its way to someone so it can be admired. It is a way for us to step out of the box a bit and create something that follows a challenge--isn't that what a challenge is supposed to be. And--no money is spent as all items are to be already available in each of own stamping spaces.
Jeanette posted our May challenge--Use May 28th is National Hamburger Day. We are to use a hamburger or other food for our card.
I did not find a hamburger stamp in my stash--but I knew I had a digital image with one. I was on the Melonheadz Design Team for a few years and I have quite a selection of their sweet images. I used three from the Bar B Que 13 set! I love their images!

Barb, your card is fabulous! What a great design - I love the little banners and the rich colors. And how fun that you were able to find a hamburger from the MelonHeadz days! Thanks for creating such an awesome card for my challenge theme!
OH Barb, I remember your melonheadz days! I always thought they were some of your cutest cards! And this one is no exception - beautifully executed and gorgeous coloring! Perfect for the hamburger enthusiasts and celebrators!

This is a great card. The layout is fab! And of course you have a hamburger stamp. Sounds like a fun challenge group - you rocked it for this month. Oh and that 'stash on the grill man makes me laugh!
