Day 3-Spring Card Class

Today is Day 2 of the Spring Card Class 2 at Online Cards Classes that I am taking! I can't think of a better time, watching some great video with awesome teachers-then trying to create what they did..........................  try!  This class is for 20 days and I even went back and signed up for Class 1 that recently ended, just to get all of the awesome content.  I will go back and work on some of those cards too.  Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire host each day and they also bring in guest artists.  I am loving everything I have seen so far!

For our Day 3 card, Cathy Zielske demoed how to emboss a card front with a stencil. I have quite a few stencils, so it was hard to choose which one to use.  But, I picked this Altenew Deco Wonder stencil and thought it would make a prefect masculine card.  Cathy also used a die as her focal point, so I picked Happy Birthday to You by Sizzix.   I really, really like the look of this card and it really was a simple one to do. I know this class will provide me with many new techniques and different ways to use what I have in my stash!  Stay Tuned!
